Having just watched the latest CS2 preview before this I instantly thought "no more having to do that!" when you were hand-faking a commercial orchard in an irregular shape. Looks like all that stuff will be doable from the outset in vanilla CS2.
I really like all of the detailing around the tracks with the industry and paths for the water tower. It looks very realistic. The adjacent neighborhoods look like nice places to live in my opinion as well.
Another spectacular build with great uses of space. It looks soo realistic and satisfying from the overhead shots. Every episode i get more and more hyped for when you get to the coastline and start doing the Downtown and Harbor builds.
Wow getting so many videos of my favourite city skylines series is a nice surprise, you can tell imperatur is majorly addicted to expanding Last Angeles right now
The parkinglots on 5:02 won’t be used bcs they’re build on a pedestrian rode and that’s why all the cars r parked on the main rode. U can see that rly good at 5:43 in the lower left corner, but other than that I totally love the build.🫶
@imperatur you're legit the best vanilla RUclips creator for Cities: Skylines. I'm not half as talented. I struggle to implement any creativity in my city because im managing everything. Any ideas?
@@imperatur I also struggle to want to start a city with unlimited money or any of the cheats. I don't know how to get past this. Also, @imperatur I'm so freaking happy you liked and commented back haha! I feel.... Seen 🥹
Great episode as usual ;) nice usage of terraforming, adding verticality, relief and volume gives a more realistic feeling to the city, that looks already really genuine). It's not that easy as game engine does not deal well with slopes and curves for building, lest's hope it's gonna be better on CS2 ! You are very productive those last days/weeks ! love it !
by "realistic", depends. for truly realistic use, like in japanese society and vietnamese, thai, indonesian, indian, etc, they still use the area around rail for normal use. but u can make it beautiful though. normal use is like.. residental, commercial, office, can still be there. but of course the price gonna be a slightly lower. but for the north america, they think residental near rail is noisy. uhh.. yes, but no. it's just your regular noisy city noises.
"Ideal" might be the more proper word. But then I look at the baseball field next to the rail track... Can the balls stuck in the rail cause train derailing? Someone else here mentioned the ponds nearby would be full of balls floating about, but what about stray balls hitting the windows of the residents there?
There is often abandoned space around rail lines in my town. Small industrial plots that are now overgrown and abandoned and surrounded by chain link and broken concrete. There is often dilapidated infrastructure too, like illogical road layouts that got cut off or abutments for bridges demolished long ago. And rubbish. There are places that cleanup and turned into parks but more often, they are a mess.
I really like watching your various city build series videos as I often catch myself using some of your ideas or drawing inspiration from some of your ideas as I slowly build up my city.
It might be redundant, but I think of railroad facilities, not necessarily railyards, but some sidings and maintenance facilities. Also, in some countries, railroad employees quartiers are developed around the tracks
@imperatur, may I have a suggestion: your videos with the edits are amazing and funny, but it's a shame there are scenes that go too fast to be seen clearly. Like I had to rewind a few times and also try to pause the momentum just to see and read that "you were so close to poison your city". And for many other moments like this too!. I understand and appreciate you're doing your best to keep videos not too long to get tired of watching them, but I would prefer to rather divide your content into more videos and give to your good edits more screen time. Other than that, thank you for your massive content you provided to us along the years!
Those little parking lots are on a ped street, there will never be any cars in those. At least turn that bit of street into a normal one so they can park on the lots before continuing by foot.
This is really cool, thanks for showing us!! Railways are a HUGE part of my cities games… I always struggle with railway cuttings and elevated metros. If possible, could you give me any pointers for using elevated metro in between two one way roads please?
Noob here: could anyone enlighten me on what kind of building that was at 0:58? And how can I fill in concrete blocks in empty spaces as he did right afterwards? Are they things I can download from the steam workshop? Thanks.

Yesss i‘m so happy to see all these changes in cs2😋

Yes i think that too:)
what impresses me the most about imp is their cohesive railway design, a feature of the game i never know how to approach

Those baseballs are gonna be FLYING towards the forestry area... or that little lake... or at someone's face in the gazebo. Possible targets. 🤣
Haha:D
I love how you play with the heights of the railways, the baseball field, etc.
This baseball field on top of mountain looks so pretty!😮
These wall to wall buildings are just perfect for those kind of pedestrian residential areas. Great job as always!
Yess!!
Your videos are so inspiring
I‘m glad to hear that❤️

That's really helpful for my French city ! Hello from the other side of the Rhine 👋

I love how the railway blended in. Nice job❤.
Greetings tim
Im glad you like it 🥰
I heard some complaints from the neighbourhood... There have been a few windows broken by baseballs
Oh noo😂😂
Lol, that lake alongside the railroad tracks is definitely full of baseballs 😂. As always, great build!

Like the train park idea and the contour interest you've added
You are not stupid Imperatur. You make my morning wake ups before work fun and inspiring. A missed before and after is okay. 😘 😊
You have an actual superpower... Great job as always!

Parking lots in the pedestrian area are things i would not expect if
I changed the one road off camera so people can access them
@@imperatur and just like that, what was inappropriate turned into an essential piece of the neighbourhood
Wunderbar!

This will work better for more european styled cities I think. Like for example in The Netherlands
Yeah that might be true
😂the only complain I always could have about his video that they over so quick 😅 but I know it is a lot of real time he spends for it
Nice work!
I really like your city. It's awsome what you build in vanilla. I defently not able to do this even with mods.

Wow😮💨🔥🔥

It’s always bothered me that the Baseball Diamond has fences everywhere except the backstop. This is just very unrealistic.
New video yaaay 🎉
Yaaay😋
please make more videos with techno music, i love getting high to your videos
That’s not techno bro:D
@@imperatur i know 😂 it’s not this particular video i watched when i was high
Then you make me wanna build a vanilla city again
Then let’s go:D
neeeeew videoo comee ooon!!!!!
Let‘s gooo:D
How can it be that I make a straightforward grid and you make a straightforward grid and your grid looks BETTER THAN MINE >:(
I am unable to find the map. I also have the DLC Map pack ccp plz help

What map is it?
Warum kein Content auf imperatur FIFA mehr?
Hi, what mods do you use for graphics?
I never stood the higher level futuristic buildings. So ugly
