My walkthrough (longplay) of the Super Mario Bros (NES / Famicom). I've completed Super Mario Bros on NES without any damage. Also in my longplay all secrets have been found. Of course I haven't use any warps in Super Mario Bros.

This is great. I always wanted to see the longplay, with no damage or death. Now, I love to see the same with Luigi, as I prefer him to Mario. Don't ask me why, but Luigi appeals to me more.

At 2-1, when you come back from the 'heaven' section, there is a flower upwards and right from the ? block. With Super or Fiery Mario it's hard to hit, however.
Also at 8-2, before the pipe with the mini tunnel, there are 2 armored beetles between the cannon setups, and from the 2 wall blocks there, the right one contains coins. Again not easy to cash it out, as you can get hit easily.
At 5-2, when you go down to hit the flower, near the flower there is a bunch of coins, if i remember well
The dev who made this game and specially the music are genius the music so nostalgic
Ill always have the greatest memories of the first time playing this on NES...
Also you need to remember that whenever you are under the effects of an Invincibility Star, any Enemy that you run into will be defeated.

I still remember this game. I played it when I was young and I ended the game once after many attempts. What an old game from 1985.

the most annoying moment in Super mario Bros is when I completed all the levels in level 7 and reached the princes and she says " Thank you Mario . But our pricess is in the other castle! " my reaction " 😱😭😵🙀 with 1 life " .
29:47 you forgot to take the fire flower but other than that you were amazing
Not sure how I remember this 35 years later but on the original nes, at the end of 3-1 you can bounce on the last turtle on the 3rd or 4th step just before the flag and get a bunch of lives.

40:40 imagine that theres a toad with a princess costume and says but the princess is in another castle
I remember getting this with my Nintendo (plus duck hunt) when I was around 9 years old. I must have played this game 500 times minimum and STILL never quite reached the princess. Frustrating AF. I didn’t know of warps or secrets for a long time though.

When i played this game on the original platform i reached the stage with the lava (around 40:00) every time i failed it. Now i will try to complete the game

I have always wondered how Mario was able to beat the world 3-4 boss as it was a buzzy beetle disguised as Bowser and beetles are fireball proof in the game. Great playthrough btw.

The scene of the Super Mario game above also meets pokemon franchise series for the pokemon type weakness/super effective reasons where in this case, Dark type pokemon (Evil type in Japan) is weak to Fighting type moves/pokemons where the reason is the Good guys/main heroes are used to beat and destroy Evil creatures/villains, which is represented by the scenes where Mario beats/destroys the enemies in the above videos.
You missed one. Multipoint brick at 6-1 world (25:59) . The only one that can be accessed over the gap.

thats a glitch bot a secret, its not dev intended along with the infinite lives exploit in 3-3. These are not dev intended and thus don't qualify as a secret

There is 1 secret u didn't found. On 5-1 if you use the first turtle to kill all the following mushrooms you get a bonus life and 20k points.
