love that last line... "but that last two hours was actually fun"... said with apparent honesty (and obvious pain) as he limps over and finds the strength required to fist bump Thomas Dekker. Great riding/reporting from JB. A classy veteran shows how to do it, then after crossing the line sum it up with a candid and comprehensive report when the tank is truly empty.
Hands down my brother now that was super epic ride nice job on finishing bro not giving up you kept on pushing and persevering and going forward grads man 👦💯💯💯💯💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🤙🤙🤙🤙
Well done! This video captured the difficulty, the rhythm, the mindset, the beauty of the race better than any other post event race reports. I finished the 200 again this year. A tough one for sure.
You could hit JB in the face with a hammer and he'd say, "Not too bad. I mean it wasn't a sledgehammer, so I feel good about it." Love that positivity.
Perspective is crazy. 12h a week is really good for riders with full time jobs. And like myself they’d be over the moon to finish in that time. Well done JB. I crashed out at the 40mile mark. (The crash that may have slowed ya down) and had to pull out with injury. Next time. 🤞
@@jeremiahbishopswheelhouse I'd like to second this request! I have a Grizl as well and I couldn't help but pause the video at 7:12 just to try to figure out which top tube bag you're running! Thank you for being awesome.
hang in there buddy! hope you have a solid physio to program you some solid s&c with spesific control exercises to get that knee going again, those acl's tend to repair themselves some times (studies back this up) and also good exercise program can teach rest of the knee to take the burden of acl function.. and even if you go trough acl reconstruction surgery later on those exercises will help you recover much faster...
At 13:30 the visuals and music really created so much tension that I wanted more. Rolling through the finish in the next shot was almost anticlimactic.
How do you train for a 10 hour race and not lose top end speed? Alot of moderate pace work I assume. I'd like to do it next year, but itll be my first one and I'm a native
Hands down the best Unbound video I’ve seen
Thanks Damon need to get the unbound folks to share ;)
Probably one of the best re-caps I've seen of Unbound. Gritty , raw, seat of the pants stuff. Really put you in the saddle of the riders.
as far as humans go Jeremiah is up near the top, hard to be humble on a day like that

Incredible video, JB! Incredible display of determination and will to compete. Respect!
bellissimo video jeremiah grande
Nice job JB! Win, lose, or draw finishing that was epic. Shows the highs and lows an endurance race can present
Super good to see a real video from your Unbound experience. Thanks for sharing.
JB..... You've done well since the 90s........Is it any coincidence?? Smoke/Mirrors..........you're my "Hero".
Thanks for your support. What does smoke and Mirrors mean?
Really like your videos! It is refreshing to see what is actually going on within the race and the competitors.
Thanks 🙏
Love this video JB. Seriously best unbound footage and edit. That first feed stop was quick and painless! Great team effort.
☺️thanks !
Congratulations Jeremiah. And, by the way, this was the best coverage of Unbound ever!!!!!!
Thanks bud. Tell the lifetime fitness guys that! Tried to get some help to Get my videographer out there and they did seem to get it. ;)
@@jeremiahbishopswheelhouse Done. I let you know if they reply back.
Far and away your best work! You can feel the intensity and epicness. VG is rubbing off! :)

Epic video! I’d love to do this race one day but will stick to the Michigan gravel scene for now lol
A modern Classic, without doubt. Superb reportage and a great ride to finish, chapeau.
Well done! This video captured the difficulty, the rhythm, the mindset, the beauty of the race better than any other post event race reports. I finished the 200 again this year. A tough one for sure.

Massive effort champ 💪🔥
Just found your channel, awesome video this 😎
You could hit JB in the face with a hammer and he'd say, "Not too bad. I mean it wasn't a sledgehammer, so I feel good about it." Love that positivity.
Been thru some dark shit. So a hard bike ride is a good day ☺️ happy times now.
@@jeremiahbishopswheelhouse Same here.
you're a beast, jeremiah. a true inspiration!
Dear Jeremiah, that was great stuff! You are a true legend and an inspiration to us out there. I wish you great blessings!
🙏 I’ll keep going! 🙌
Brutal!! Truly unbound
JB such an inspiration, Loved the vlog of the event. As someone who finished the 200 mile this year I can relate to the struggle
Yeah buddy! That was a rough one ! 🙌
Love this vid. JB makes the experience so relatable for us mortals that just try to finish. Inspiring for sure!
Thanks for sharing the journey. Your attitude made suffering look somehow fun :)
Great video, love how you managed to film during the race. Gives a great inside since footage is scarse between rest stops!
It’s hard to do but the @thevegancyclist has taught me the worse it gets the more important it is to film. One handed pack rideing tho…😅
@@jeremiahbishopswheelhouse jup, you really forget to film or take pictures when it gets hard
that opening was perfect
That was so intense 😂
Hard work and great pictures
Amazing! Thank you.
Awesome video, I really enjoyed the music.
Sweet video great quality
great video, and I feel on on the cold and not feeling your fingers. felt the same on the last 40 of the 100
That was a lot of fun well done.
How impossible can be possible 200 mile race?... Well done Jeremiah and greetings from Poland! HYHY
Savage
Nice work!
love this channel
Thanks 🙏
Glad I found this thru ur insta. New follower JB. Ur a bad ass!!
You're a legend!
Great work Jeremiah. Stand up effort for a stand up guy! I wish all Unbound videos were this quality.
Is Jeremiah Bishop using the Aldi repair stand?
🧐
Congratulation💪🏽
Chapeau!!

Hope your ok Logan,
We do the best with what we can. You’ll be back! Just put that post it above you bed with your goal time…
Great video 👊
Have you done a video on your setup . Just started following you am thinking about doing unbound would like some inside.
Great idea l.
There are so many options!

What do you recoment on a race like this, elektronik or mecanik gear groupset
Honestly electronic is good now and does not deteriorate, with cables there is mud and grit making shifting harder
You did great man I wish I could be half as good as you are now.
Another great video. Surprised by the bike stand near the start as it looks like a low quality one I used to have 😁
Yeah the air BnB had a cheap one in the garage so it worked! 😂
Wow. Thanks for sharing. Glad you warmed up there and got to finish!! Was the rain unexpected? It's not often you see JB looking that cracked
They had a 20% chance but I didn’t expect buckets of cold water
Such a badass and a complete legend.
Hey JB what's was urgent position?
good thing you didn't quit, I would have beaten you haha
If you’re on the verge it’s a 10 on the suffer-fest gauge😁

if u are ever getting rid of a bike send one to me
Your seats are all too low
You need to add strength training...lift weights !
