I don't speak French but obviously this version of the Ides of March was a hit. Iove her voice
C'est admirable comment "Águas de Março" ne perds pas aucun sens poétique et musical quand traduit du Portugais au Français - au contraire, on dirait même! Une sensibilité poétique pareille.
It's amazing that this song doesn't lose any of its poetical and musical character when translated from Portuguese to French. It's a similar poetical sensibility, more difficult to translate to English.

C'est intéressant que dans l'original les aux de mars indiquent la fin d l’été mais ici ils doivent indiquer la fin du hiver...

Stacey, this is simply one of the best recorded versions out there-your English version has been on my “Aguas de Marco” playlist for years. Essentially, a flawless interpretation.
Also, please let the saxophonist (or whoever made the choice) know that I LOVE his harmony up a third at the end of his solo, which inspired me to begin playing it that way.
