All standard WRX's came out both auto and manual, WRX STI only came out with manual until the 2011 release which came with an optional auto, which is the same gearbox as the Tribeca. With both the auto and manual at around 292bhp the manual sti has around 300lb torque but they had to drop the auto to around 258lb making it marginally slower. Im in Australia and we have always had both transmissions in the WRX's, i worked for an importing company and we also got both types direct from Japan.
Not too sure if this is the point you're trying to get across but current WRXs in Australia definitely don't come with an auto option- manual only. STI comes in manual unless you buy the Spec R version which is a 5 speed automatic.
This car has transformed alot since this video. I like it! Only reason i want an Sti, is because of the Brembo's and 6 speed( Plus the "sti" badge :} ). I guess its not worth it though. This car proofs it in the forums. Made my choice.
Im going to the Subaru Dealer tomorrow to test drive the 2012 Subaru Impreza WRX STi possibly the Sedan :DD cant wait to be appart of the Scooby onwers club !
ughhh exactly what i want! 2011 wrx aspen white hatchback! love it! currently have a 2004 wrb wrx stage 2 sedan and think this car is my next :) on a side note, don't understand people saying the interior isn't nice. Go buy a fucking bmw and dish out an extra $20k if you want luxury. People want a car to excel in all aspects but don't dish out the $$. I see NOTHING wrong with the interior. Everything you need.
@amigero815 I own a 2012 WRX sedan base model in satin white pearl. Honestly I love everything about the car. Even if its just your daily driver I would highly recommend it.
@Amigero815 Thats a tough call... I would love to say the WRX because I own one and love it but they are really different cars. I would test drive both and give yourself a true comparison. I know the WRX has more Horsepower and it's lighter but there are so many opinions about the two cars. A simple test dive would give you are clear answer almost instantly. Good Luck!!
@Amigero815 Go with the WRX!!! Find someone that has a manual car and learn bro!! Trust me....YOU want to be the one shifting through those gears and making the car do what YOU want it to :)
I can hear Jeremy now. And it sounds awesome.
I plan on getting a wrx in the next year or so long time to wait but it'll be worth it. Great video!
Bro did you get it?
Great editing love the car even more!
Great job on a gorgeous car!

Pretty sure it's Satin White Pearl because I have a 2014 hatch and that's what the white is on it.
2011 WRX it is swp
Yea it's very sleek, although GD bucket seats are better.

not sure why they removed the painted headlight housings

What does wrx stand for?
What kinda car is that?
Wrx power is more than enough to most. Sti is for the bling bling look.
there are no WRX's in manual. what is the point of a manual at 20 years old ?
AHHH!!! Next time wont be until 6 years from now lol :)
good editing, should of cut out the beeping of the guage sweep tho, then showed it fade out..
do something!!!! haha nice video!!!

i dont like the music track for this style of editing
Nice camera work, music didn't really fit
what kinda car? and your profile pic is a subie.
ever heard of google ? you should try it out one day
No WRX's in manual? Is there a cave with wifi you live in with no communication to the outside world except for ignorant commy wifi?
only if they had the British accents haha
Should of took the time to learn manual. Or at least buy the Dual clutch EVO that has auto mode. A normal lancer ralliart? why?
i mean automatic lol. there is no point for an automatic, useless in sports cars like this.
