I worked in hotels and the main reason that you can't get an early check in is because of people who check out late. We prioritise late check out because a) ppl are already in the room and b) it is MUCH harder to kick ppl out than usher new guests in. I understand it is frustrating, especially when you're paying a lot and give notice, but it really is impossible to guarantee. The reception and cleaners work really really hard to make transitions as smooth as possible! No one wants a guest out of the foyer and in their room more than the receptionists!! Not even the guests themselves! Haha ❤️ Ps this rant isn't because of Lydia's behaviour I am sure she was impeccably polite as always, it's just a general life frustration haha - loved the vlog! Xx
Hayley Challender It is especially frustrating to explain people why they can't check in early morning when the hotel is fully booked 😅 and even if you apologize and explain that you will provide a clean room as soon as possible, there will be someone to say "oh, but i walked around the resort and seen so many empty clean rooms there right now". I just saw the peonies! Jelly! I have such a hard time getting peonies in Los Angeles and I found them at Costco. The smell was dreamy, and the way the flowers opened was stunning. So many bloggers have the peonies in their shots and I adore them. I see why artists over the years have painted peonies. I have only been to London once, after the bombing in 2005 I think it was, and I loved the flower boxes that were outside of pubs and stores, and flowers for sale. I hope to spend more time in London and make it to the countryside as well. So much to see and experience.
