Collar stays! Great review!! I love you two together. I agree that Porpora is a drier Rose. I love it. I get compliments on it each time I wear it. I wear it daytime and night. It’s glorious in the heat too. This is my favorite Tiziana Terenzi fragrance but my favorite rose fragrance is POAL here in NJ.

You guys have a great rapport and I always find your discussions engaging. This particular conversation was especially entertaining though ... maybe because you obviously share a great love for Porpora but you seem to interact with the fragrance in very different ways. In any case, some of my favorite rose dominant perfumes are Portrait of a Lady, Papillon's Tobacco Rose and Rose Flash from Tauer is nice as well. Also just got a sample of the new Hyram Green, Lustre, which I'm enjoying. I'd love to get my nose on Porpora as well. I'm in North Carolina.

Okay, this sounds absolutely gorgeous! I must have it! Rose fragrances are my most favorite perfumes. Especially when they are rich and complex with spices and fruits. I've never tried anything from Tiziana Terenzi so I'd be so thrilled to get this one as my first. I have a few favorite rose fragrances - Jo Malone Velvet Rose Oud, TADASHI SHOJI

This one really zaps me when I first spray it! It’s so bold and strutty, I just love it! Dalya nailed it with the word glamorous.
I bought this the first time I smelled it and I believe this is top 3 rose frags. So far. I just started and man this blew me away.
I am a huge fan of Tiziana Terenzi, perfume. I got one (Porpora) for my dad and he can’t stop raving about it. He kept the whole packaging even after the bottle was finished. This is my favorite. I live in California.
I knew what collar stays were - but only because when I bought a nice shirt a few years ago and encountered them I asked on Facebook! My favorites rose scents are Acteur by Azzaro and I also like the lovely Comme une Evidence Homme. I don't believe I have sampled the house ever, but I love warm notes, incense, gourmands...and all autumn/winters. That bottle is TDF! I'm in NYC, NY and thanks as always for a great review and a chance to learn about a fabulous house.
Greetings from Lexington, Kentucky USA. I have never tried any Tiziana Terenzi fragrances, but this one sounds so good. Rose is a favorite note of mine in fragrance. My current favorite spring/summer rose is Serge Lutens 'La Fille de Berlin' and my favorite fall/winter rose is Frederic Malle 'Portrait of a Lady'. I think the collar things you are talking about are collar stays. They can be plastic or metal and are inserted into the special pockets in the collar to keep the collar in place and looking crisp.

I’ve spent the last few days reading up in notes and finding a local stockist to get some small decants. This is one of them along with Spirito Fiorentino and Nero Oudh … my only other experience with Rose is TFs Cafe Rose from 2012…which I liked but wasn’t fully able to appreciate then. I gifted it to a friend and embraced Oud Wood instead. My tastes have changed. Thoroughly enjoyed this older video with you two bouncing off each other. Sounds wonderful .
The best collab team in frag comm! I don’t have a lot of experience with Rose fragrances, but out of the few that I’ve tried, my favorite has to be Amouage Lyric Man - can’t get enough of that. Thanks for the giveaway. Definitely want to get my nose on this. My state is Maryland.

I’d go with Tom Ford Noir de Noir for a rose frag but I’m intrigued by this one. Seems lovely. You got me at rose and oriental anyway. I have no experience with TT unfortunately. I should also mention that you two are always great. :) We don’t have a Barney’s here in Austin but will be on the hunt for a retailer now.

Great review as always! My favorite rose fragrance currently is probably either Parfait de Roses or Roses Berberanza from Maison Lancôme, but this Tiziana Terenzi sounds amazing! The only fragrance I’ve tried from this house so far has been Orion. With love from Kentucky 💜
Which of the roses do u prefer? Parfait or berberanza? For me, the rose has to be done right. I own jasmine marzipane and orange bigarade, loving the latter more.

What a fantastic opportunity! Rose and patchouli is such a classic combination, if it’s done the right way. Raspberry gives it a nice twist.Appreciate the fact Porpora is a strong fragrance. When I buy niche I like my fragrances to perform well.
It’s interesting how both of you are into this fragrance, but for a bit different reasons. Own Al Contrario myself, and it’s one of my favourites .

I have a tiny sample of this and I love it! This would be a gentler replacement for my favorite rose fragrance, the discontinued Maison Lancome 2000 et Une Rose which is a less sweet, not a hint of fruit, spicey rose. Porpora leans more gourmand on the skin with an natural almond (not the bitter almond flavoring found in foods). I wouldn't label it mature at all, not for the teens but a working 20+ can definitely pull it off in the evening when not wanting to go sweet.
Ooo, this sounds divine. I love a big rose patchouli fragrance. Rose of Kali by Neil Morris and Rose Sur Reuse by Soivohle are 2 if my favorite big rose scents. I live in Georgia/USA.

To my understanding Porpora is a classic rose , spices and patchouli fragrance , but with a twist. Incense and raspberry should compliment main notes well .
When I think Tiziana Terenzi I think Kirke . One of the best gourmand fragrances EVER - period. I have to admit I did not paid for it - received it as a birthday gift from my sister .Compliments galore from late 30’s girls , to 18-19 years old teens.

I’ve been dreaming to own this perfume. Rose is my favorite note, EB Florals rose oud being my favorite rose frag so far. I hope i can experience this one and bring new sensation to my olfactory sense as Laudano nero and Ecstasy have. Hoping to further build my TT collection with this one and spray it on while i put my COLLAR STAYS on my crisp white shirt and just be fancy for no reason at all!!

I would have to say L'Artisan's Voleur de Roses. It has a textured feel to it.

Wow! Tiziana Torenzi has a great house for sure. I have a sample of Gold Rose Oud, and it's just Heaven. My other favorite rose is Oud Silk Mood, and of course POAL. I don't own a suit or tuxedo so I have no idea what goes in that type of collar. It's obvious that this fragrance is worth a try: both of you seem to love it. Excellent review. I own Orion and I like it very much. It was a blind buy but didn’t disappoint. Currently my favorite rose fragrance (oil) is Heritage blend by Abdul Samad al Qurashi. That taif rose combine with the oud is really something to experience.
I'm thinking of blind buying this one though i usually never do that. Sounds really good. I'm a guy and really have grown an appreciation for certain rose fragrances. My faves are PHI, Noir de Noir, Kazimi, Sadanne, Isparta, and Lumiere Noire. Any comparisons for Porpora?

Didn’t have near the beastly performance that Gold Rose Oudh did on my skin... GRO lasted almost 9 hours in this summer heat. SF smells great but didn’t last long at all. It was a decant and that may have been a factor though.🤷🏾♂️
I love Tiziana Terenzi , rose and patchouli, and Dalya! I also love poppies. This was made for me. I'm in Ohio. My fave rose probably still is Perfumer's Workshop but I am addicted to Tauerville Rose Flash, Serge Lutens Sa Majeste and SL La Fille de Berlin. I also adore Ex Idolo Thirty Three. Mmmm. My fave TT is of course Laudano Nero. I have a bottle of all of these. I need another TT. My fave color is RED. I don't know the collar thing.
Well so far it would be it would probably have to be Black Aoud but that might just be because it's the only fragrance with rose that I put on my skin.. I think. Hopefully, looking forward to this!!!!!

I get the old gothic vibe just from looking at that deep red bottle, Sebastian. Not this new black mascara goth trend, but like a vampire lurking in the night down by the cathedral on the cobblestone streets of Whitechapel in the 1800s. Great video, love Porpora my second favorite of the house after Ursa, surprised POAL isnt mentioned. By the way your nephews will definitely have mature nose and taste in theor 20s the way youre treating their tiny noses 😀Nose maturity isn't about age at all, like many I grew up with fraghead parents and by the time I was barely 20 already had a good idea of my taste and knew what quality is.

If two wo fragrance connoisseurs are genuinely impressed by certain fragrance, getting a sample is a must for me. A) Tauerville's Rose Flash is my favorite rose scent. It's not overly complicated fragrance, but makes me happy, and that's the most important thing B) I'm impressed how certain fragrance works on different skins. She said it's a modern rose, and seems to disagree C) Texas Virginia My collection is relatively small for your standards (71 bottles) , but I do own one Tiziana Terenzi fragrance Al Contrario. Warm and cozy gourmand .Thanks guys
I haven't favourite TT perfume yet, because I haven't try many of them, but I really like V Canto Cicuta, which is also big rose scent, and one of my favourite roses even if it slightly on feminine side. I like L'Artisan rose trio (3 completely different takes on rose) and some vintage stuff like Azzaro Acteur or VC&A pour Homme. Also like Oud Bouquet by Lancome. I live in Poland, but I have an address in US, Huston, TX

It sounds like a beautiful powerhouse Rose Fragrance, with other very pleasant prominent notes including cinnamon, cloves, along with the incense, and patchouli. Sometimes you want that strong projecting and performing fragrance that is just for your enjoyment and this may be it. My favorite Tiziana Terenzi fragrance is Ursa. I find it similar to POAL, but it’s brighter than POAL. I actually prefer this one over POAL, bc there’s something about the way the clove and raspberry mix in POAL that I’m not crazy about.

I do not know Porpora , but now I feel I should. Big bold and spicy rose-patch combinations I enjoy with passion. Can't get tired of spicy roses. Raspberry is appreciated a lot , incense too.

TT is my new fav.. Gold Rose Oudh and (believe it or not) Jo Malone’s Velvet Rose and Oud are my fav rose frags right now...TT does no wrong as of yet. Let’s see if the streak continues! Im in Tennessee.

Hi Sebastian and Dalya love you two together they’re called collar tabs or stays or sticks! I love Dionisio so far the most I Love Tiziana’s scents and his IG his family looks like they’re having a time! I Love the sound of this it’s just my scent I’d of worn at 18. My fav rose scents are many and long portrait of a lady Pasteum rose une rose de K. Cafe Rose I’d love to win this. USA
This is am absolutely fantastic fragrance. One of my favorite from one of my favorite houses.
I have mentioned this before, but you two work so well together that I would love to see much more of Dalya on your channel. I know that it takes a huge amount of time and money and dedication, but if she had her own channel it would , in my opinion, be very popular.
