Next time, if you're running out of time for a tutorial, push whatever you have left to go over onto the next episode, instead of rushing through at the end. I would have preferred if you slowly explained what you were doing with the cannons rather than watching a timelapse at the end. That said, good tutorial nevertheless.
I'm so used to building the tiniest most efficient things in From the Depths that when you started building your "small" Cram Cannon my first thought was, "Is that the main gun of a battleship?!"

I used to almost exclusively build hull first, but since I have a lot of my guns prefabbed, I now tend build around them. About the only thing I don't do that with is aircraft because I usually go into those with a particular shape in mind. Cramming weapons and systems in can be challenging! Good refresher sir, looks quite boaty!
I should get into it at some point again. I missed like quite a few updates. But I honestly can't motivate myself to do it, because even my smallest "starter ships" shred even the most broken and unfair faction designs...3k hours of refining does that to you unfortunatly. However, getting 3k hours out of ANY game is impressive enough to keep a special spot in my heart. It is easy one of my top 3 games. And I like that you still make content for it. :)
@@BorderWise12 The singularity is not the worst one against smaller vessels. The huge hp bloats are a problem. I found that the Scarlet Dawn is not the hardest faction for me...I have more trouble with the stupid large Grey Talon craft.
I roughly followed this after making a handful of ships that where just awful, and it turned out amazingly, 30k resource cargoship that had enough room for a good engine and good defences... as well as some simple weapon turrets. Was a massive help I was loosing hope for a while XD Just put it up against a cram cannon warship I made before this, like 50k resources but bad. It lost because of anti missile guns on the back of my boat
after hours of youtube tutorials and 70 hours of practicing in the designer, I have still yet to make a single successful vehicle that can swim in a straight line without flipping or freaking out

ever since the latest update, all knowledge on all forms of engines and AI is obsolete. wich is really a frustrating, controversial move. so videos like these are a godsend.

Does the turret armor clip through the bulkhead a little bit to allow it to turn? I see similar turrets like this on RUclips all the time and they always look like they have no clearance for rotation.

The Warlord (GT) is broken right now. Poor thing's engine is to big, it rips itself apart when in combat. Wonder if anyone is willing to fix it. Maybe me. Press f to pay respects. Actually, I rather prefer the thing broken for now.

This is a normal sized ship? Wow like my biggest ship is 125 meters long and 4tall (without guns) and gets oneshot by marruder cram and can't actually win against anything it costs 200k has steam engiens and 4 adv rapid fire frag/explosive penetrationg shells
When I try out ships from the workshop and stuff it says like slot 1 - (weapon). When I switch to manual control I can only go from ai to me and there are no numbers like when you shot the cannons. All I've been told is to use the mouse wheel. If I shoot it fires every weapon. Do i need to change my controls
Not specifically for submarines... but you have the choice of AI propulsion controls, ACB complex controls or PIDs to get your subs to behave the way you want. I have tutorials for all of those, at least! :D
Submarines are simpler than you may think, just look for a hover craft tutorial, replace the Jets with Propellers and set the target height to something below 0 Done, submarine at your service (Keep in mind that submarines should be made of stuff that isn't bouyant, do not use wood or rubber)

Kind of. Aim-point selection works differently now, CRAMs and fuel engines have been changed and there have been numerous mechanics tweaks. Otherwise, the basics are still the same.
Hate that the cannon building process is sped up, I'd much rather it wait for the next episode than me not being able to see what the hell you're doing.

same. even my "big" ships are so little, mainly because i don't spend too much time on one craft because i don't want one ship to take the whole day

I recommend to put the ammo storage under the water line. Water should add an extra layer of armor and it will lower you mass
Genneraly agree, just be carefull of torpedoes and if you put the ammo under everything else you will probably need to exstend the armoubet

Guess this is't for newbies. Went so fast on the hardest elements of it that it's just a blur to someone who's new to the game.
I recommend the advanced cannon tutorial in game to understand what he's doing during that part of the video, it helped me a lot.

if your an experienced builder and know basic hulls, it may be better to do internall first if its an AI build. helpfull for fleets mabey

They do not. They are measured and symmetrical so they have just enough space to turn. They do touch the walls tho
If you do the math, they do clip a tiny bit, but there is a particular clearance for different sizes of circle. You can find a chart to help you

Nope, you need to set the weapon groups on individual weapons and turrets. That way you can only fire certain weapons at once.
