Beautiful music; sometimes sounds sad , but still very enjoyable! I discovered Cajon Music, when as a Ship Captain, my vesse called at New Orleans Port in 1973. A local stevedore invited Mr to his village home for an evening party . I heard Cajun Music ,mingled with the players who were thrilled that I could play along on the Family Piano. Enjoyed Cajun Food!! A memorable occasion in my 79 years now. ❤️ love

Cajun music is the music of the white cajun of South Louisiana and zydeco is the music of the black creoles of the same area with more emphasis on rhythm and blues and blues.
From New Orleans here. Both use the accordion, Cajun, French refugees from Quebec the fiddle more, and Zydeco freede blacks the rub board more. Zydeco is a half a step faster

I met many Cajons. when I was inthe Air Force and was stationed in 👍 Louisiana. They always seem to be Happy and friendly.
