- A 48-year-old mother of two who was shot dead in south-west Sydney has been identified as one of the city’s rarest known gangsters.
Lametta Fadlallah and her hairdresser Amy Hazouri were gunned down by an unidentified man while sitting in a car near her Panania home on Saturday night.

Not all firearms, just the types that are useful for self-defense. There are probably more firearms now than there were then but mainly due to the population almost doubling since they were banned.
It was only the law abiding public that handed in their weapons. The main culprits were hardly likely to do so. It wasn't just about removing weapons from criminals, it was to remove weapons from the public, leave the public with no way of defending themselves from the excesses of the government.
