The biggest sin is that this movie goes from almost nobody having a gun in the first half (damn near impossible in the US) to almost every random civilian having fully automatic assault rifles and submachine guns in the last episode.
The reason is because A: They didn’t grab a gun or dropped it when in a panic, C: the military personnel taking it from all the civilians leaving them without guns B: Near the end is because they raided a place to get weapons, groups got them guns, military personnel gave the, their guns back, or they made sure they didn’t drop their gun or forgot it.
Plus a lot of Americans usually don’t have fully automatic gun which is worth 4k-8k dollars if In pristine condition with expensive ACOG sights and flashlights or laser sights. Most people usually have glocks and other pistols, semi auto rifles, and also shotguns.
Yeah she really got on my nerves. The black dude was sitting up here tryna save them from psychotic killer kids... This bitch sitting up here tryna disarm him like Gun Control

Just like cancer my mom has gone through 12 rounds of chemo while having stage 4 cancer and she just now is starting to lose chunks of hair that by now lots of ppl have lost all of their hair by 2-4 chemo
Not to mention that there are canonically multiple strains with distinct effects and turning times, as this takes place in the world of Z Nation. The primary strain is slower but that isn't true for all of them.
As someone who goes running a lot using the sidewalk, people really ARE that oblivious to their surroundings. Most people don't notice me come up from behind them until I'm basically within arm's length, which is pretty annoying by the way when they take up the whole damn sidewalk haha.
I sort of get that, most people don't pay attention to little everyday things. But this is a zombie apocalypse!! I think that people would be a bit more on edge and checking their surroundings and not just stopping in the middle of a 4 way intersection when they know that there are zombies and bandits all over the city.
yeah but thats different cause in normal day theres noise from cars and from people and also people are not gonna be on edge in normal day but there its the zombie apocolypse so they should have heard it plus she was grunting and makinng noise while running
Yeah actually you're right. I was on the receiving end of this once. Me, my mom and my Grandma were walking around in a park and this jogging woman just kept jumpscaring us because we wouldn't notice her right until she came up on us. After it happened the first time I kept trying to listen behind us for the thumps of feet, but I couldn't even hear that and she got us a second time. I was astounded that I couldn't hear someone running straight towards us even when being aware of their presence and actively listening for them.
When I get out and about on a run, I despise all walkers. I think they are a lower form of life. I especially hate how they move out of the way erratically at the last second, usually into my path. Or how if there are two of them, the one on the left goes right and the one on the right goes left. They should just keep walking straight like the mindless fools that they are. They should trust that I know exactly what I'm doing.

Actually and more specifically, it's human instinct to PUNCH to the FACE. As for head shots, it's not as easy as people think.Log into an FPS game and enjoy relaxing on a high def display with a super comp and snacks etc and get head shots all day. Be in the middle of a pandemic with adrenaline, fear, chaos, and minimal if any firearms training. The average person cannot actually fight, much less gunfight. It's kind of like that argument where a guy trains in striking for 20 years, wins many fights, then meets a noob grappler that takes them down and the guy with the 20 years exp looks like he's never fought a day in his life. People that amuse the most are the ones that say , "Oh I'm not fighting them on the ground." Yes...yes you are. As in this scenario picking up a pistol and getting ok with it is a LOT different than suddenly grabbing a shotgun and doing the same. Even if you think like the grappling example and say , "Oh well I'll just use the pistol since I'm better at it."
The thing that gets me is how little amounts of zombies there are. Like the zombies seemed to only really be characters we saw and who died. In the real world, there would be hundreds drawn by the gun shots and constant yelling

This was so disappointing. A lot of potential and interesting ideas. All of which were completely wasted. Obviously, they discovered the infinite ammo console command.
So, the husband took like hours to turn, but grandma is up and running in seconds? I think the TV trope for this is "virus spreads by speed of plot": one person fights the infection for hours, next person turns in the blink of an eye.
What if the husband was bitten by the host or the more the virus transfers the quicker it takes its course? And of course everyone's immune system is different some viruses kill in a few years while others can simply live longer or even just be carriers
Lance (the guy with the jean jacket) frustrated me the most. He is doing everything youre not supposed to do... how did he manage to stay alive. Just watched season 2 and LMFAO what an idiot.
I mean they did the same thing with Barbara in like 2 or 3 episodes. Like they introduce her tell us what her goal is she gets tricked even tho she says she's survived for a while on her own. She bonds with that guy and Sun and then yea let's have her just fly out the front window of the car after the crash even tho the other 2 characters put on their seatbelts. Like why didn't she put on her seatbelt when they did? Like everyone is making stupid decisions left and right.
bro even the black guy with his son in the first episode of The Walking Dead knows that it's a one-shot kill in the head and it's only been like less than a week The Walking Dead: it only takes one shot in the head to instant kill these weird creature's that appeared less than a week ago Black Summer: 1 year later they still don't know that it's a one-shot kill in the head and waste over 20 bullets on each zombie they see in the chest, they still miss the heart as well

About 30-40 people spraying ONE zombie with automatics and not one bullet happened to hit the head when no one was aiming? Statistically improbable. Those zombies should be dead by simple random chance
Lance was my favorite character because he felt so realistic from how much of a coward he was. I could honestly see myself being like him in an actual apocalypse, and most other people too

@Honin Akecheta now, let me ask you a question, how would you react if your granny or your sister where eating someone alive? You would be in shock, the same as if you see it in the street from a stranger, they know what to do, but they are in that much shock that they cant do it
Do basic preeping. In the case of a natural disaster or something have 2 or 3 weeks of food and water along with socks/underwear and be the gray man. It's simple.
After several attempts, I finally forced myself to finish this series just to see if it ever made sense. Immediately looked to see if there was a sin video.
Yea his character makes sense despite what people say about him being pointless. Its realistic to how people would actually act. Clearly he was a good person so he helped them, they seemed like they knew what they were doing so he stuck with them, and then when they were going somewhere he didnt want to he took a gun as payment for him helping them and went his own way.
One thing that really bugged me is how the lady who only speaks Korean and the dude she's with who doesn't speak Korean seem to magically understand each other.
It honestly felt like they were driving/running around the same little town through out all the episodes. You'd see things in the background over and over.
Actually just make fucking sense since it all happen in the same town. What do people expect? That they go from Calgary, to Tokyo, to New York then Dubai every time they get on a new street? Goddamn people find stupid stuff to complain about.
During a zombie apocalypse that would be realitic I mean how hard is it going to be for you travel distances, and since they all started next to eachother again how hard is it to believe that they would be near each other the whole time, and not even know? Fog of war man.
They say that guy still running to this day and the cycle never ends. (Btw I watched the full series while back and found the character deaths mainly at the end soooo stupid)
@This is BAXTER I think when she turns, you can see a hole in her shirt, in front of her heart. I think when the one zombie got around everyone and tackled the survivor, spinning her around firing wildly, she "just so happened" to get a lucky heart shot on our poor "Protagonist"
It is a prequel. But I'm guessing the astronomically cut budget and for what I know a considerable chunk of the studio leaving just demed this to suck big time.
It was a great show. It always boiled down to people just trying to survive. Some decisions and deaths were too stupid for my liking but I liked the show overall. I wish it wasnt cancelled. I'd take like 4 seasons lol.
The part where the bomb drops and the guy falls down "uninjured" is actually realistic. explosions cause a shockwave that can kill you even if shrapnel doesnt. granted it does look like an oversight where they just forgot to edit in all the shrapnel and gore but still.
The Walking Dead season 10 recently came on Netflix and in one episode I had to laugh at something similar. They had like 4 people surrounding a dude who blows himself up with a grenade. The grenade basically obliterates the guy but the other survive by ducking without getting any farther away. Not even any ear ringing
@@LowReedExpert1 The only way I could see this making slight sense is if the grenade was on the ground because the shrapnel flys up in a cone shape or a V. So hitting the deck could save you depending on where you are.

I particularly like when Spears and Rose make it to the checkpoint on the bridge and the guard calls Spears "sir." Spears was wearing an E-3 insignia...lmao. Then Spears somehow removes his name tape on his ACUs and then it reappears later in the same episode. Dude, I'm glad you found faults in these series, too. Whoever is in charge of continuity for these series must be laughing all the way to the bank.
I want to see a series in an alternate universe, where people have heard of a zombie before and can think like adults instead of starting drama in a life-or-death situation.
16:01 Favorite part of the video. The audible anger, frustration, and confusion in your voice captures anybody's feelings of this series and a complete 180 to your usual soft marshmallowy voice.
7:42 I think the reason why Ryan ran away from Rose is because she threw up and he knows that people throw up right before they turn (I know they puke up blood but I think he was probably just confused and didn't wanna chance it)
One of the biggest things that bugged me about this series is how stupid all of the characters are. Just the fact that none of them use any kind of weapon for so long, why wouldn't you keep a knife or two on you at least.

Somebody who doesnt know much, doesnt realise how much there is to know, so theres nothing stopping them from thinking they know a lot.. Basically, too stupid to realise theyre stupid. If they did no their shortcomings, they wouldnt feel so entitled as to project their work onto people..

Yeah sure but it's not like you grunt and screech with every footstep you make innit?

They should trust that I know exactly what I'm doing.

@@shockerck4465 fun fact - animals go for the neck and head, humans are animals
Ever see a human after or while a dog is killing/eating him? Brains are leaking from the skull, jaw is pulled off, neck is usually completely gone depending on how soon the body is found
Feral cats upon attacking a human will jump and lunge to reach a humans eyes specifically, and they also try to specifically claw and bite each others eyes foremost when fighting eachother because they recognize it as a weak spot
True, evolutionary instinct. 🤯🧠🥊

Well so did walking dead
So, the husband took like hours to turn, but grandma is up and running in seconds?
I think the TV trope for this is "virus spreads by speed of plot": one person fights the infection for hours, next person turns in the blink of an eye.
Right
I think he was stabbed and died in blood lost
Well i think its because of the grandmas immune system was weaker then the husbands because she was older therefore she turned faster then the husband
What if the husband was bitten by the host or the more the virus transfers the quicker it takes its course? And of course everyone's immune system is different some viruses kill in a few years while others can simply live longer or even just be carriers

This might be a show but this episode 100% accuratly dipicts how most people would react. In any situation they are a liability
@@davevd9944 and in the ending scene we see that only three people lived, meaning that no matter how many guns or people we have, only the strong can survive
@@ronaldgomez6750 The strong and the lucky. One of the strongest was that older guy but thanks to his fucked up leg he still died. And that's how it would in RL only the people who are trained can keep their shit together or are just downright extremely lucky will survive.
Thats pretty much what happens in WWZ. When the apocalypse really kicks off, there's a huge social phenomenon they call the Great Panic and friendly fire / survivor conflicts ended up killing more ppl than the Zs
Really what makes this show good and unique from other zombie shows is the camera work and angles and the fact that the show isn’t all about love triangles and drama.
Also the dad didn’t turn quickly because he wasn’t bitten just deeply wounded which is why the soldiers specifically said they’re check for wounds because if you die you turn. He died in the house and turned
If only the story wasn't dogshit, and characters complete morons
When they see a zombie
Group of Survivors:So anyways I started blasting everywhere but the head
spotted the dead space player.
Andrei De Asis: So anyways, I have no brain. I didn't know they were not trained, and didn't have the knowledge on how to use a gun.
Fortnite players: "wHY PeOpLE dOnT ShoOt In THE HeaD?!"
Me: "yeah kid, good luck aiming for the head in a apocalypse with 0%-10% training "
@@MeukuDeapito Well, the issue with this particular show is that guns are not as accurate as movies and video games make it seem. There's significant spread, especially with automatics and little training. So yeah, Rick Grimes scoring between-the-eyes headshots with a revolver from a courtyard away is dumb. About 30-40 people spraying ONE zombie with automatics and not one bullet happened to hit the head when no one was aiming? Statistically improbable. Those zombies should be dead by simple random chance
@@Imperator202 What I really hate about a lot of zombie flicks is people wasting a shit ton of ammo by using full-auto.
Lance was my favorite character because he felt so realistic from how much of a coward he was. I could honestly see myself being like him in an actual apocalypse, and most other people too
Honin Akecheta Realistically, yes
Everyone thinks they are going to be a badass killer of zombies but in reality most of us would be dead or would survive thanks to other people, dont think of yourself to much
@Honin Akecheta now, let me ask you a question, how would you react if your granny or your sister where eating someone alive? You would be in shock, the same as if you see it in the street from a stranger, they know what to do, but they are in that much shock that they cant do it
Do basic preeping. In the case of a natural disaster or something have 2 or 3 weeks of food and water along with socks/underwear and be the gray man. It's simple.
The homeless man and his dog are gunna be the only smart things that survive
After several attempts, I finally forced myself to finish this series just to see if it ever made sense. Immediately looked to see if there was a sin video.
My favorite character is the Dog Man. He helps a group of people survive then goes his own way. He probably is better off alone with this dog.
So we're just going to glaze over the fact that he opened the lock open with a spoon
I think he used the spoon to jam the lock in place, so that it doesn't move around and used lock picks to open it.
I've used a spoon and a fork to open door before, when you're desperate you will find a way lol
*a spoon and a paper clip
it is actually possible to do it
bro watched too much mcnally before the apocalypse
“some palette looping” i live for that dbd reference
Late Bloomer I def laughed out loud
I had to rewind to double check what I'd heard, fucking great lmao
One thing that really bugged me is how the lady who only speaks Korean and the dude she's with who doesn't speak Korean seem to magically understand each other.
Through hand signals, maybe lip reading? I’m pretty sure she understands English
It honestly felt like they were driving/running around the same little town through out all the episodes. You'd see things in the background over and over.
Its Calgary, they probably only got one area to work in.
They all live in the same neighbour hood dummy 😂 the little shit yall complain about i swear
So this is a prequel to z nation also I laughed when that old lady got yeeted through the window
Coley Durham I meant to say is this a prequel of z nation
Black summer is infact a spin off of Z nation and well a prequel simply bc it happens earlier in the apocalypse
Nah z nation is pretty good
Barbara?
It is a prequel.
But I'm guessing the astronomically cut budget and for what I know a considerable chunk of the studio leaving just demed this to suck big time.
Season 2 is even worse it’s taken me more than a week to finish the first episode
I’m glad I got progressively more intoxicated well I watched this show by the end I was cheering for the zombies
I've never been more frustrated with a cast of characters in an any form of entertainment media
I laughed when the grandma flew out the front too 😂😂
Im reporting
literally healed the arthritis in a snap
I laughed at that too they say dark humor is a sign of intelligence but that can't be true because I have a dark sense of humor
the blonde girl sucks for doing that to her like bruh just close the door damn now she gonna die
@@mirandanils5114 huh thats not what happened at all
Doesn't matter how many zombie sins there are in this show, black summer is one of my favs 😂
Ikr I’m a simple man, I think it’s a cool zombie show
It was a great show. It always boiled down to people just trying to survive. Some decisions and deaths were too stupid for my liking but I liked the show overall. I wish it wasnt cancelled. I'd take like 4 seasons lol.
Why was your gamertag and mic activation at the top 90% of the time
Yeah I recorded the first 3 episodes without realizing my mic was on lol
@@WowSuchGaming lol i honestly found it entertaining but love the vids
Wow Such Gaming XD I’m a follow your gamer tag when I get on Xbox
Oh thank god I thought I was losing it last night I triple checked if I was in a party and everything but was so confused
Yea I genuinely thought someone had somehow broke into my party
The part where the bomb drops and the guy falls down "uninjured" is actually realistic. explosions cause a shockwave that can kill you even if shrapnel doesnt. granted it does look like an oversight where they just forgot to edit in all the shrapnel and gore but still.
The explosions would need to have been at least somewhat close to hit them with shockwaves and it just doesn't look like that was the case at all.
It’s not realistic at all wdym lol
And he jumped before the explosion? Yeah right...
My biggest issue is that, Spears or Julias or whatever his name is, has a combat knife and never uses it.
Basically, everything wrong with Black Summer was everything.
The show is so fucking bad
I liked the show until the ending that was one of the worst ending I've ever seen in my whole life
Can’t even remember what happened.
because it really isn't the ending its almost a cliffhanger
They killed my favorite character the dude that looks like hollowpoint in my opinion
It's getting a new season, hence the cliff hanger
Cliffhanger.. it didn't wrap itself up and you mad about it.
8:31 "they don't know what zombies are"
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't black summer a prequel to z nation, and again correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't z nation make multiple references to zombies being a thing before the outbreak? Like I specifically remember the military dude playing dead rising 3 or something
James Dowdall you are correct, however canonically the people were intentionally not told they were 'zombies' because the zombies were intentionally created. It is kind of how in L4D the people were told not to shoot the infected
@@ItsTripleAGaming yeah but be honest with me if these infected started appearing and there were no explanation for anything wouldn't you assume they were zombies?
@@jimmydcriket4086 oh absolutely!
@@ItsTripleAGaming then the people on this show are a bit too slow to connect the dots
@@jimmydcriket4086 no one accused them of being smart but I would agree that after a little they would realize the government lied
2:42 "A total stranger walks up to the car and asks if he could drive."
He probably had the charisma skill maxed out.
The funniest thing in the whole video is when 4:00 the guy says "i am not gonna rape you"

Someone needs to add Elder Scrolls and Fallout edits to these Netflix series and movies 😂😂😂
Dude, is that a good pickup line? It's good to let the ladies know that you're trustworthy right?
Speech 100 use persuade
I watched this as a zombie comedy and it was super fun to watch.
I love how the random guy just throws a can at a zombie XD
Man : Throws can
Zombie : Duuuuude, you hit my nose!
“Zackass fix your mic!”
*Zackass was kicked from party
Time stamp
When I saw the trailer for this I was like "Oh this'll be good to watch." Then I watched it and INSTANTLY regretted it. Also APPARENTLY Black Summer's a prequel to ZNation but Jamie King (the mom) says the shows have nothing to do with each other but one of the actor's from ZNation said this was a prequel.....NO ONE KNOWS A GOD DAMMED THING
This show was so ungodly horrible it infuriated me; literally made me shake with rage.
Damn, Granny is running like a track star after turning. Maybe being a zombie ain't so bad
7:42 I think the reason why Ryan ran away from Rose is because she threw up and he knows that people throw up right before they turn (I know they puke up blood but I think he was probably just confused and didn't wanna chance it)
The logic in this movie:
*Yes, but actually no.*
I love chainsaw man
Also, not a movie..
One of the biggest things that bugged me about this series is how stupid all of the characters are. Just the fact that none of them use any kind of weapon for so long, why wouldn't you keep a knife or two on you at least.
qX Doombringer Xp The Korean girl was actually the only smart one. I’m happy she survived.
Well I mean it’s a zombie apocalypse what are you suppose to do? We don’t know who to trust ya know? It’s a different world, decisions are difficult in this type of situation. We have a different mind in this situation.
@@cyberoom814 Kind of only makes my point more... it makes no sense what so ever to be unarmed...
