They adopt herd mentality only after they are fully turned. “New-born” zombies are still very individualistic, since they are not attuned yet to zombie communication. Likewise, a new zombie might try to eat new zombie, for those reasons.
If you think about the women who tried to kill herself after being pinned down, when the cop zombies disarmed her it might be part of the fact that the zombies still use skills from their everyday live, the cop zombies may have training to keep people from suiciding.
Zombies eat brains. If she shot herself she would’ve splattered her brains. Zombies knew that and immediately disarmed her. They don’t want dessert to be messy. Lol jk
The guy on the 8th floor had been feeding his wife with everyone else on the floor. That's why the floor was so clean and empty. The zombie wife ate them all. That's also why he had a lot of food, he took it from the now-empty rooms on his floor. He had done the same thing as he did to them to everyone else which is why he had his setup with the rope and drugs.
the way the door opens is actually important in the reason why he was able to keep the two/three infected from coming in but not the one from before. The door opens towards the outside, so when he was holding the handle, the could keep them from entering, but with the fridge in front of the door, the first dude could just open the door and stand between it and the fridge.
Yeah but there's also no remains or anything in the room, just blood. And the infected are shown to bleed a lot from basically everywhere. So if she was fed before did she eat the entire body, bones and all? Did she hide the body somewhere? Why did she eat them and not infect them like the zombies appear to want? This shit is confusing.

It'd be riskier to make unnecessary contact with other survivors unless it is a complete desperation moment. Trying to contact other survivors in an apocalypse is a double-edged sword, so it'd make sense she would wait until he was trying to kill himself to establish contact.
I agree, in addition she probably wanted to make sure, he wasn't a lunatic because typical when SHTF people REAL side come up to the surface fairly quickly and you might end up with someone you regret making contact with.
Love how he brought up the mist movie from 2007 Fun fact: That random survivor who tried to feed that girl to his wife is the same actor from all of us are dead who played on-Jo’s dad
One way I've thought of to survive the first encounter in these types of movies: grab a weapon and retreat to another room with a door then use a dresser or other heavy object to block the door at an angle so the door will only partially open but not all the way giving you a better head shot while the infected is partially stuck. So I loved seeing the fridge kind of being used in this way.
The nameless survivor probably had so many zombie killing tools and supplies because he'd been taking supplies from the other apartments and the tools were for clearing them out.
The movie has some flaws, but I honestly find the zombies to be kinda refreshing. Somewhat intelligent and with decent motor skills and instincts (depending on their lives before turning) is much more terrifying than the usual brain dead zombies we're used to.
George A. Romero aka the godfather of the modern concept of a zombie also depicted zombies as retaining some recollection of their past lives (it's even a major plot point in Dawn of the Dead). So there's that 😊
Honestly the scene with the helicopter reminded me of a stealth helicopter from a game I play on my laptop, enemies wouldn't know it's there till it shot at them
13:34 hate to break it to ya, but people used to be given alcoholic beverages as food during lean times (I.e. famines). It actually works quite well, especially the lower-proof stuff.
Social Media could easily be a double-edged sword in an apocalypse scenario. A rescue party would be able to see your location but so would other survivors. Possibly some less than friendly survivors that might want everything you have. The idea that being rescued is even possible is pretty refreshing though.

So after doing some research, apparently you could survive at least a couple months on only alcohol before the full and worst effects of scurvy and protein deficiency would take full effect. Something else I saw said it would take about 2 or 3 months for those effects to kick in and you'd be dead in about 6 months, so in short, you can increase your survival time, at least a bit, from drinking only alcohol. Here's a sin, our boy didn't understand that barricading his front door with a fridge was pointless when the door opened outward. It was a decent method of giving himself a little more time, but he'd better off tying something to the handle on the inside first and tying it off so the door can't be pulled outward. Just my 2 cents.
Random comment - that's why I prefer doors that swing inside the house because you could effectively barricade yourself inside for defensive purposes as opposed to the door swinging outside.
@Nekobaby - also another sin within your sin point... that supplexing zombie was inside the house WITH the door being completely shut. From my understanding of that scene's shot, the fridge was totally pressed against the door while it was shut, so how was there enough space for the zombie to fit between the fridge and the closed front door? Also at the ending scene on the roof... they barricaded the door with two ladders placed under the doorknob, but then another scene, the ladders' location was shifted in between takes and then the zombies were able to burst through the "unladdered" door... you gotta love inconsistencies in movies.
@@BMAChannel. do you know how fires work? It's easier to run from a fire if the door opens outward, you waste time opening the door if it goes inward, while if the door opens outward you don't even need the door open all the way to run

Yu-bin stays partially awake because she doesn't drink her entire glass of water. Also the reason that some of the zombies are smarter than others is actually explained, in the news when it says the way that the zombies act. It specifically states that only SOME zombies are able to remember how to open doors/ windows, maintain some intelligence, etc. That's why there's some inconsistencies, or why a zombie would be stuck in an apartment or something while others could let themselves out. Some people are affected worse than others. Lastly, you can't actually really hear a helicopter from above.
@@skycendre257 You can’t, but it still makes some noise and there was no reason for a helicopter to be that low to the ground and next to the building and it would still attract a shitload of zombies from below.

I feel like something you didn’t take into consideration is that zombies remember bits of their past lives. Just because they aren’t wearing a uniform doesn’t mean they’re going to be regular zombies, all the zombies running up the buildings are probably just them semi remembering that they live there and maybe that they have family’s to eat.
But they won't be running in groups, not even running, they would be walking even if they remember because they have to be triggered by a noise or something to do that.

When the news report said they mimicked past lives I thought it was cool how the previous zombies (who were police officers) disarmed the woman, as this was probably something they learned when subduing an armed criminal.
The zombie police men DISARMED the woman cop because they kept memories of their past life. Same with the firefighter zombie, he knew how to climb a rope in his past life, so he kept that memory. Its a really good movie, love the plot.

If you think about the women who tried to kill herself after being pinned down, when the cop zombies disarmed her it might be part of the fact that the zombies still use skills from their everyday live, the cop zombies may have training to keep people from suiciding.
Oh no
big yikes, oof-
Which does also explain the zombie fireman who saw a rope and decided to climb it since he remembers his training prior to zombification
Zombies eat brains. If she shot herself she would’ve splattered her brains. Zombies knew that and immediately disarmed her. They don’t want dessert to be messy. Lol jk
It was not training to keep people from suiciding but more of disarming cause cops do get close range training and how to disarm people with guns.
"It may be the first time he feeds his zombie wife"

Yeah but there's also no remains or anything in the room, just blood. And the infected are shown to bleed a lot from basically everywhere. Imagine a zombie picking up a phone and comprehending your location from your speech to them?
The nameless survivor probably had so many zombie killing tools and supplies because he'd been taking supplies from the other apartments and the tools were for clearing them out.
The movie has some flaws, but I honestly find the zombies to be kinda refreshing. Somewhat intelligent and with decent motor skills and instincts (depending on their lives before turning) is much more terrifying than the usual brain dead zombies we're used to.
same
George A. Romero aka the godfather of the modern concept of a zombie also depicted zombies as retaining some recollection of their past lives (it's even a major plot point in Dawn of the Dead). So there's that 😊

Just my 2 cents.
i didnt notice it opened outwardly, with the way he barricaded himself in, i thought it opened inwardly
I mean what kind of front door in any Living place especially apartment opens outward. Its a bad design.

But they won't be running in groups, not even running, they would be walking even if they remember because they have to be triggered by a noise or something to do that.
