Yeah, I hate the new Jefferson design for the nickel. I actually keep all of the 2003 and prior nickels that I come across. I keep them for the combination of the Nickel and Copper metals. I've got 50+ lbs of 'em, but I just grab 'em as they pass through my hands. I have 100+ war nickels, but the vast majority of those are things that I've purchased for between $1 to $2 over the years. I think I've found maybe 5 or 6 over the years, but it's pretty rare. I also keep any Canadian Nickel bullion that I come across as well, and I probably have maybe 6 to 8 lbs of Canadian Nickel bullion. Best of luck with your future Silver hunts, but it was fun watching another interesting fail. 😁😉
@@veritasfiles LoL, (another interesting fail) thank you... You've got a pretty good hoard going. I hope I get to make a video soon where I actually have some silver... But until then... I've got another penny video coning
It’s like Forrest Gump said, Coin Roll hunting is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna find 😂, I searched a box of nickels yesterday, first roll had a 1943P, last row had a 1929 Buffalo Ender Keep Stackin Bro
Today I checked the coin star at Meijer and got $1.06 in the reject bin. It had a 99.9% Ni 1940 King George the VI nickel in it. Got a little kick out of it. I live in Michigan so we get a lot of Canadian coinage.
Cool beans. I like the king George coins. Just like the silver, I've really been striking out at coin start these days. I went to Detroit a few years ago. Just for the fun of it. I ordered half dollars and pennies. I stuck out with the halves, but the penny boxes were really good. And they had a lot of Canadian. I've never been to the upper peninsula, I'd like to go there some day. good hearing from you
@@TwoshedsGabby Well if you ever do you have to check out Houghton. It's copper country up there. My wife graduated from Michigan Tech, she wants to go every year twice a year. I hate the drive!! I had a teacher back in the day find a raw copper ingot that was over 70 pounds from one of the mines. I know it wasn't BS because he brought it to school.......I pull all the .999 Ni Canadians it goes for around 7 bucks a pound.
You can take a computer and turn it into a cryptocurrency mining device. Like to mine Bitcoin or something. But they also make mining devices that are specific for 1 thing. 1 cryptocurrency. Mine was made to mine the cryptocurrency called Helium. A helium miner acts as a hotspot for IoT devices and facilitates the transmission of data over the helium network.
@@missrhinestone7800 they are worth about 5.1 cents each, you are correct. It's just not for me, so I just keep the older ones. I'm sure the value will go up, but it's just not what I want to do yet. Good luck to you, and good hearing from you.
@@TwoshedsGabby I started coin roll hunting when copper and nickel were at much higher prices than today. I remember when nickels had a melt value of almost 8 cents each. That memory seared into my mind is what drives me to still save all my nickels to this day, not just the older ones.
That’s a lot of half dollars!!! Great video!!
It sure is a lot for no silver. LoL... Thank you
Hi Gabby. At least you found some proofs. Nice enders in the nickels. Have a wonderful weekend Friend.
Oh hey, how are you blueman? It was nice to see the proofs. I sure hope I can come across a silver coin or 2 soon. It's really been a while.
@@TwoshedsGabby Doing well thank you.
