I saw the title and thought, "Cool, the devs actually heard Steed question why BEERUS OF ALL PEOPLE doesn't have a true Hakai, so they gave him a Super Soul." But after Steed explained it... I STILL believe the devs heard him. Why? Simple. They saw Steed and many others question why BEERUS didn't have Hakai, something almost as foolish as Goku having no Kamehamehas, and so gave Beerus a Hakai Super Soul...just for them to turn around and completely DIMPS all over it. So, yeah. I absolutely believe they were listening.
So Beerus, a character that has used the move hakai, doesn't have the move in this game, but gets a super soul named after his move that basically nerfs him and still doesn't give him the move. 😐
I can't even begin to imagine how they dropped the ball _that_ hard. Extending the time of a stamina break, good; giving ki when you stamina break, good; but somehow they flip the modifiers for damage taken and damage received. I'm playing modded, so I still haven't updated my game and seen the new super souls for myself, but if fixing this for me is as easy as going into the Super Soul Editor and changing a few numbers, it shouldn't be that hard for Dimps to patch it.

The super soul doesn’t activate when you break your opponent’s stamina with a perfect block, skill, breaking their guard, or if they burn their stamina out. I’m starting to think the PvP community makes this game more confusing than it actually is. Though the dogshit netcode doesn’t help either.
My guy when they say heavy smash they mean a stamina break whether it’s a regular one or a heavy one hence why the super soul activates when he does a regular stamina dummy

I genuinely laughed at how bad this super soul is when I read what it does they made it sound pretty cool in the name but the effects are against YOU! Why would ANYONE use it over any other Super Soul??? Why do they hurt this game more and more?
The thing is, the devs choose to add or not add certain things to this game and don't make an effort to improve the QOL like they very much can. And the player base doesn't make it better by abusing the mechanics and everything possible just to win, so I'm going to completely blame the devs on this being a bad game the community is a factor. What I'm saying is that Xv2 as a game is bad because the devs actively choose not to improve on it whatsoever. I'm a long-time player myself and enjoy what the game has to offer, but they can do more but just doesn't at all.
Im trying to figure out why beerus sphere of destruction is so underwhelming compared to most ultimate attacks. They really need a buff and nerf patch because some of these ultimate that are 300 ki are doing way too much damage than ults that are worth 500. For example super spirit bomb.
Can you do a video on some moves that are really good but are just looked over to due the shear amount of other options? Like consecutive energy blast does crazy damage for a 1 bar move, gorgeous shot is great as well, and I never see anyone using shine shot because handy canon is just a better option.
Hey Steedoj thank for doing a video about this Super Soul. You're not wrong about it, but you're not right as well. You only did 1 Stamina break on your opponent not both. You also hardly use Afterimage, so change that to Super Afterimage. It'll make Beerus deadly to fight against. But when it comes to Limit burst from your opponent you need to play defensively with the Endurance State by staying on solid ground & using Super Afterimage. But ultimately yes the Reduce Damage Dealt (S) & Increase Damage Taken (L) is bad, but what if your Elpis with SSB had this Super Soul & you did both Stamina Breaks? Pretty busted if you ask me.
Never could find a use for any Super Soul that lowers the amount of damage you do. At least give custom Beerus Vanishing Ball and let us pretend it's Cataclysmic Orb. At least then he would have SOMETHING!
Mentor Frieza doesn't even have all of his forms moves just most of them the only 1 he is missing i think is Emperor's Death Beam has all of his other moves he has in his Golden form, so i am not surprised Beerus doesn't have the other destroyer's moves
While not every update needs a new meta defining super soul, this one is definitely disappointing. I wouldn’t mind if it was a constant damage increase that temporarily cancels when you land a stamina break hit but this doesn’t even do that. The ki is nice and all but it’s not worth giving up the overall 10% damage.
I have a genuine question, im a ps4 user and i simply cannot find any pvp rooms. Is it just me or someone have this problem as well? Like i try to enter a room and the game auto creates a room with only me and no one enters or it takes a year to do so
The super soul its not bad but you have to play acording to its use. The super soul most atractive point is that it gives you 3 bars of ki, a free ult with the extended duration stamina break, if you save ki during the match its useless, its true advantage is that you can waste all your ki in supers during the fight to force your op stam break.
The problem is aside from consecutive energy blast or ki blast cannon (2 extremely basic moves) Beerus doesnt have any moves you can freely use without being wide open or stamina broken. As a lot of people said, he needs all of the destruction moves for this SS to be remotely viable
@JustSaiyanDude He has ki explosion, energy wave combo, meteor strike , meteor impact and afterimage variations. I would like as everyone if he had hakai moves but he has lots of resources to waste ki and use that super soul correctly. If you still doesnt like the moves he has its a character problem not a super soul issue.

Xenoverse 2 is a shitty game. The only reason I played this game was because of the cast characters like Beerus, Vados, SSBE Vegeta and Metal Cooler. Now playing those characters is getting annoying because they're so UNFUN to play. Like... why? And, you may be asking, "Why what?" Oh, I'll tell you. WHY IS HERCULE BETTER THAN ALL THOSE CHARACTERS? Like is Bandai deadass rn??? ☠️ And, don't get me started on CaCs... The customization for vanilla is piss-poor at best. Lag? Unbearable. Ki blast cancelling? Lord, help me and make those damn spheres of energy take Ki away from their bars. Block mashing, why tho? Why can you even block mash? Did no one test that out? I'm done complaining, love you steed.
