- Jack Hibbs and John MacArthur recently joined with false teachers in an ecumenical church service co-hosted by the Family Research Council. Among the spreaders of false doctrine at "Freedom Sunday" was notorious NAR heretic Ché Ahn. Jack Hibbs is quite popular in the Calvary Chapel circuit and among those interested in biblical prophecy. Ironically, he himself is showing to be part of that great falling away prophesied in the scriptures that will be a sign of the last days. This is what happens when you put politics before truth.

This is exactly why we read our bible and let God lead us. What surprises me is how "Christians" no longer seem to have the spirit of discernment. How can someone that claims to know Christ, not see or even feel for that matter, that this is wrong. Thank you Josh. I am very humbled by your courage!

It seems to me that once a man goes to seminary, he becomes part of an elite group & other pastors refuse to say anything about his theology no matter how aborant. It's basically a good old boys club.

Recently on the Eric Metaxas show, he praised Bill Johnson of Bethel Church and talked about how wonderful he is. Eric is not known for modesty and would promote anyone who lets him speak at their church or peddle his books. Sadly, he is an example of what much of Christian broadcasting has become. Thankfully, there are still solid men out there that hold to the Word of God.
Who are the good ones? I'm very discouraged about so many church leaders making excuses for letting these false prophets in.

It's good to see you Joshua. I hope you are well! As I've analyzed the institutionalized church and general behavior among professing Christians over the years, I have seen many problems building. But there's one major one that seems to have infiltrated almost everything. Trying to achieve unity through the absence of scrutiny, aka non-judgementalism or ecumenism. In studying this, I believe a lot of it comes from pastors focusing on church growth rather than truth, and also twisting scripture regarding our relationship to judgement. Even more concerning, I have talked with some people who have agreed with most or all of my assertions when addressing mounting issues within the western church, but still came to the conclusion that it's not enough to divide over. I've heard the "no one is perfect" argument more times than I can remember. Then I realized that people are conflating moral failing with doctrinal error (they were taught this by parents and/or church culture). We are to forgive each others shortcomings when repentance is pursued, precisely because we are not perfect, and must forgive, lest we won't be forgiven. But this has NOTHING to to with false teaching (unless the pastor/teacher repents publicly of their error). We do NOT dismiss false teachings because no one is perfect, or no single individual has the corner on all truth. Those arguments can be discussed, but they have absolutely nothing to do with scriptural accuracy. In the west at large, the bible has been turned into an emotional gospel. Love is not capitulating to error for the sake of unity. It's standing up for truth, and allowing the chips to fall where they may. The church is not ours to try and preserve. I'm tired of people saying "my ministry" It's Christ's, and only truth can truly set us free. As men become increasingly more cowardly in the west, the nurturing, feminine traits have taken over church governance. These traits are certainly needed within the body and family unit. But they are not useful when dealing with doctrine. We must be devoted to judging truth from error without showing nepotism, otherwise we allow the enemy to camp among us and wreak havoc. All of these problems will persist as long as the cult of personality remains within the church.

I wonder, tho, where does the work of the Holy Spirit come in in discerning for these folks...John MacArthur is so respected... was it a lapse in judgment for him, or true action against God in his heart? Did he feel his voice brought credibility to the meeting so someone in government would listen? Do his heart motives count when judging his actions in this situation? @@myrajackson-rain5483 Myra, that's a great question. So was it a lapse of judgement on his part, or true action against God? This is not the first time something of this nature has happened, Joshua has a few other videos discussing those instances. To date, there have been no retractions that I'm aware of. How respectable someone is in their speech and demeanor doesn't mean what they say is correct. I personally believe this is the logical conclusion of following ardent Calvinist doctrine. He doesn't believe people can fall away from their salvation once they come to Christ. It also attributes evil to God Himself, saying that God created evil, predestinating people for hell from their very inception. John MacArthur doesn't serve the same God I do. So no, I don't think it's just a lapse in judgement. I believe John MacArthur is a false teacher who has deceived many, especially because he is smart, hard working, loyal, and well spoken.
@@JDsVarietyChannel John MacArthur does believe people fall away all the time after they "come to Christ." He would just say they were never truly reborn and wouldn't say they "lost their salvation." MacArthur also doesn't espouse double-predestination, and if you check their website it lists everything they believe and doctrinal statement, so you're just absolutely wrong on all these accusations. I'm sure you'll find something on divine concurrence or simultaneous concurrence, but you won't find anything about double-predestination. The person you're looking for who holds to that is John Piper.

Used to like Jack a lot, but he has been getting increasingly off track. I also disliked the fact that he refused to call out the false teachers around him, in fact he supports their platforms and invites Hillsong to his church. Most things Calvary have taken a nosedive since we said goodbye to pastor Chuck. Glad he can’t see what became of this organization.

Chuck was part of the problem. In a few of his books he defended the Catholic Church. Also, when the Emergent Church was growing he condemned the movement and sent a letter to the Calvary Chapel pastor's warning them to stay away from the movement and called out certain leaders of the movement like Rick Warren. About 2 yrs later Chuck and Greg Laurie attended a crusade with Rick Warren. Roger Oakland left or was asked to leave Calvary Chapel when he confronted about the hypocrisy.
@@proverbs3_5-8 Thanks for the info! I remember hearing about this and I agree that it shouldn’t have happened, however I do feel like after Chuck died everything went downhill rapidly. I was listening to pastor’s perspective before and after he died and the difference is night and day. KWave’s whole schedule became devoted to Warren and Brian brodersons one-world religion ministry. Anyway, I grew up Pentecostal(not the crazy kind lol), so I’ve always had some disagreements with pastor chuck but I strongly suspect manipulation by his son in law in his later decisions. Not an excuse, but I do factor that in.

Servus Christi Thank you so much for commenting. I’ve been going to Jack’s Church for two months and I have his ear as we have talked twice. I will call him out on this because he is asking much of his church as far as refining our faith and being sold out to Christ. I will ask the same of him and I won’t let it go.

Kingdom of the Son of God I think getting caught up in patriotism is OK as long as he is biblical in his teaching the church mostly is impotent if you look at the church they stand for nothing they don’t even come out against abortion or homosexuality anymore all they do is preach a God of love and that’s not the gospel the gospel is we are sinners and we need a savior, not God is love, so I respect Jack for presenting the Gospel, but if he’s going to get in bed with other faiths that are in direct opposition to Sound Christian doctrine, then I’m out, but I’ll give him a chance to respond because I talk to him once in a while.

However, I always, as with everything and everyone, compare ALL with scripture. The KJV BIBLE takes precedence over everything, everything. It is the final word in all matters of faith and practice. I stopped listening to Jack Hibbs when he started being too political about the pandemic. Besides, he and his friends seem more interested in voting for Trump than in the gospel.

Thanks for creating this. As an Army veteran who served with General Boykin; the information I learned about him disappoints me. I just read his book called Man to Man. I did notice a few things that didn’t align with scripture. Isn’t interesting how we can be pulled in to people? My views on Metaxsis, the late Chuck Coleson, Mcarther, and Jack Hibbs have changed now. The evidence here is irrefutable. Many will defend the claims here and say things like: “ no one is perfect” and the like. I’d like to think those who know truth would not associate with certain people or organizations. The Bible has a lot to say about such things even to “stay away from such people.” The deception in the last days is rampant and finding a true, Bible believing organization is getting harder to find. I have thrown away so many books I’ve read that I’ve learned later the author a false prophet. I didn’t even want to donate the books, I threw them away! “The purpose driven lie” was one of them. Many lost unbelievers will bring up church heresy and apostasy to which I don’t disagree! Yes, many pastors do want your money! But we can’t let all these men and women wolves deter us from Christ. “Let God be true and every man a liar.” Nothing new under the sun. The Bible says don’t forsake the assembly of yourselves. Those places that “worship in spirit and in truth” are getting difficult to find. Where are the true worshippers? “Strive for the narrow door, many will try but will not be able.” May we have ears to hear and eyes to see. Lord help us all.
James. Thank-you for posting this from your unique perspective. Many people try to dismiss a lot of this type of information with the weak "no one is perfect" argument. You are spot on. And you are right on about not reselling the materials. It's not good to put them in other people's hands. When I was about 20, I threw all my videos games away (hundred's worth) and when I come across ungodly books I burn them. Being in retail is tough when you're a Christian. I bought a storage locker once for fun and had to throw over half the stuff out. This world is full of occult garbage and bad theology. I call it NFFHC (Not fit for human consumption) I wish you all the best my friend. The path ahead is narrowing quickly, and we're all feeling it. I'm right there with you, struggling to find like minded believers to fellowship with in person. But God is good, and he knows EXACTLY what He's doing!

A fool listens to only one side of an issue. I would like to hear what Jack and John have to say. If you listen to what John said in the sound bit he said that he was glad that his voice could be heard. I would like to hear more of what he said. Sound bites can be deceptive.

Well, you just can't argue with truth. I know one thing, the world is getting smaller and smaller for biblical christians who stick to the bible and do things God's way. And we can handle the world, but when the separation is with so called Christians, its truly sad. Discernment is a wonderful gift.

The good news is that those who seek will find. If someone sincerely seeks the knowledge of God and His truth, they will find it. The truths that we need are right there in the Bible in plain words. And the truths of God, while very profound and deep, are also simple to understand. I recommend getting a King James Bible if you don’t already have one, and spending lots of time in God’s word - no one else, no footnotes, no pastors, etc., and reading it for what it says and believing it. Take it slow, and don’t be in a rush. Quietly consider what the Lord is saying, and ask Him questions. While all the books of the Bible are amazing, I would also recommend starting off in Proverbs and Psalms, because these books in particular are where the truths and knowledge of God have been “condensed” into very short, to the point messages/chapters. In other words, they are jam-packed with God’s knowledge and truth. In these books you will find the simple and profound truths that will enlighten and lead you in the right way, and also provide you with comfort and healing that you need. God bless you, sister.

I’m praying that many will get out of their man made denominations, take off their Roman Catholic goggles, their Protestant/Baptist/nondenominational glasses, and study the Word as a little child ready and eager to learn. Because Mac Arthur assents to a set of doctrines, it does not matter at all what he practices? Many think doctrinal assent is all that matters, not life actions. It's embarrassing that Mac Arthur is considered the guardian of orthodoxy by many. He is getting very rich, defends physical and sexual abusers and re-victimizes victims. His political emphasis ruins his credibility. Like Jeffress in Dallas, he makes Trump more important than inward spiritual strength. Spiritual focus is low.

I am guilty of idolatry in looking up to the celebrity mega-church "leaders" like John MacArthur. Most of our church leaders at my church. went to Master's and laud John MacArthur and continue to attend his events. And many young seminary students came to our church when they came out here from the mid-west to attend the Master's College and Seminary. Many many years ago in the seventies there was a warning about John Macarthur and Grace Community Church. So I am not unfamiliar with him. Pray that I may have the boldness to share your videos with my church as they defend MacArthur and other "celebrity Christians". Pray for discernment.

I used to listen to MacArthur’s sermons quite frequently & also supported Grace to You financially. However, I was deeply disturbed by his sermons since March this year. I stopped listening to him. I am also shocked that Justin Peters failed to discern & continued singing praise. John MacArthur changed, or simply finally showed his true color? This kind of preachers are a thousand times worse than those prosperity preachers, they are a lot harder to discern & a lot more deceptive. Pray that the Lord will open people’s eyes so that they can see truth. We are at the most critical time in history & Satan is trying to rob as many God’s people as he can - DO NOT LET him.

I've never been so isolated as I have since I started following Christ to the best of my ability. My family and friends preferred the old me, the horribly lost 'christian witch' I professed to be. He has in some past videos. I think both of the Calvary chapel ones and the hillsong one. I do agree that I would like a more expansive look into him, though. I notice many things happening and I must be honest that not many I see that can speak truth but their heart is on the money and those who speak truth most of them dying out. I will stand my ground and watch and discern strongly. Usually people with many people in church their heart are on the money.
Really appreciate how this channel digs up and exposes the connection to those who proclaim to teach sound doctrine and the Gandolf cult, but would see greater benefit with scriptural references that debunk the behavior of these heretics. Otherwise, people not grounded in biblical doctrine may not understand the criticism you portray. Simply saying saying Catholic is Satanic and go find my video is not relevant to this current video where a brief summary of some sort could give context or a brief mention of 1 Timothy regarding qualifications of church leaders, etc. Otherwise, those not grounded look at it like a personal dislike to someone else's approach in presenting God's word. I appreciate your work, but don't hear Christ focused teaching to counter these heretics with much needed scriptural references. The connections between these groups is sharing the WEALTH of the congregations.

I agree, even yesterday's service at CCCH was given to politics, and not to worshipping Almighty God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. They are more concerned about the cares of this world than proclaiming the TRUTH. I had to turn it off, and I get up at 4am Hawaii time to listen to live services before we go to our church service at 8am. It is so hard to comprehend why these men would do this, but it is like you say, they want more to protect what they have then to stand for the Truth of GOD'S WORD no matter what the cost. Even though these men of God had Calvinist bents, they remained faithful to God and His Word. Dr. Martin Lloyd-Jones, JC Ryle and a few more. Could you do a video on solid Bible teachers? It is had to wade through all the misleading info on websites.
I find that the smaller the following, the better. The narrow path that few find that teaches the full convicting truth won’t be popular.
I think he wants to point everyone to God and His Word. God says, “ Trust no man”
