honestly my favorites are Yusuke and Ryuji's and Akechi and Joker's but I really gotta give a shoutout to how dynamically different the boss version of Makoto and Ryuji's is. Most of the other boss variants are just different angles to hide the enemy due to most bosses being big as fuck but Fist of the Phantom Star (boss version) really went out of its way to be a new attack.
Those two along with Haru/Makoto and Yusuke/Ann are like top 4 for me with Joker/Sumi being 5th they're all so freaking good

Some showtime ideas for Joker and the rest of his friends.
Joker and Mona: Highway backdrop with the two standing on the street like an impending robbery. They run towards the shadow and shoot their weapons before Mona turns into a car and Joker uses the grappling hook to drag the enemy along the ground.
Joker and Skull: The two rush down a track field, Joker slashes the enemy before Skull whacks them into the air. Joker follows up with his grappling hook by pulling himself to the enemy midair and kicking them to the ground.
Joker and Panther: Suave ballroom, Joker and Panther dance while shooting at the enemy. The two separate and lash at the enemy, Joker with his grappling hook and Panther with her whip. It ends with them wrapping their hook/whip around the enemy to constrict them, ending with a cracking sound.
Joker and Fox: (Big stretch on this one) Joker slashes up the enemy in time with Fox's brush strokes, Fox spins the canvas around to show artwork of Joker that pops out of the painting to deliver a final cut. (Idea being creating a cognitive copy of the moment through extremely realistic depiction.)
Joker and Makoto: A single light turns on to reveal an interrogation room. Joker ties the enemy to the chair with his grappling while Makoto beats the hell out of them. Joker ends it off by shooting the light bulb, returning the scene to black.
Joker and Noir: Noir skips down a castle hallway and leaps onto an unstable chandelier. The chandelier drops on the enemy as she slashes the shadow with her ax while Joker shoots at them as he jumps down. As Noir leaves she fires a rocket back at the enemy, missing them until Joker uses his grappling hook to grab the rocket and yanks it into the back of the shadow.
The makoto one needs to happen !!!!!

Joker and Akechi are my favorite Showtime. It happens in the spur of the moment, with no planning like with the others. Joker taking to the sky with his grappling hook and a single downward strike showing control and finesse, while Akechi makes a mad sprint at the shadow with a flurry of vicious strikes showing unrestraint and cruelty. End it all with Akechi walking away as Joker takes a single shot and it shows their belief in each others strengths. Not to mention all the bulletin boards in the background that describe themselves. Lastly their abilities, Joker being a wild card being able to hold multiple personas, and Akechi having (or had) two personas, Robin Hood and Loki.
It's like whenever I play Fortnite with a friend. My friend has an actual strategy while I just brainlessly run after them because damn it they shot me.

I love Ryuji and Yusuke’s because after you first use showtime Ryuji asked Fox about doing they’re own Showtime and Yusuke didn’t sound the least bit interested, goes to show that these two developed they’re relationship as friends.
Moral of the story... Don't interrupt when Ryuji is eating and don't interrupt when Yusuke is watching someone eat...

Akechi and Sumire really should’ve had a showtime together. Because then it would make it so that every party member is a part of 2 showtimes.

I really enjoy the Joker Akechi Showtime. We have the more calm and collected Joker, who uses his grappling hook to get the drop on the enemy, and Akechi just goes ham on slicing them up
You can tell the Voice Actor had fun with it
Why is no one mentioning that Haru just flies into you in her second showtime event with Makoto
I love Ryuji and Yusuke's showtime, I especially love the second one, where you get the perspective of the shadow, getting the shit shot out of them
I love how the Makoto Ryuji showtime makes the high pitch sound from the anime after she punches them, god tier attention to detail.

The 1st time I saw Sumire's Showtime I teared up a bit.
I didn't really care about the Joker stuff... it was a dance so it's designed to look romantic whether it is or not. But seeing her and Kasumi together after everything just nailed me in the feels.
I wish Ryuji said “YE YE” in his showtime with Yusuke like in Japanese.
