Tammi and Marvin's duet is arguably the greatest of all time, you can say Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers, Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warren Johnny Cash and June Carter, irregardless you can argue the point that it's Marvin and Tammi and they'll have to take heed. Definitely in the top five.

The reason Tammi and Marvin were so close is because they WERE NOT A COUPLE. They were not each other's type like that. Marvin did not like independent, smart-mouthed women and Tammi was more into bad boys with confidence. Marvin was too insecure and sensitive for her. This is what people fail to understand. Everybody thinks they were in love with each other because they looked and sounded good together and had performance chemistry. Marvin said it many times in interviews and Marvin had his faults, but he was brutally honest about his life and how he felt about people.

Greetings from The UK. I feel so sad for this beautiful lady, because as a fellow Migraine sufferer, i can totally relate to her anguish. May she and her dear sister, who were both taken from us way too soon, rest in peace and thank you for gifting us your lovely songs. Thank you also to the narrator, for recounting her story in a most pleasant and respectful way. xxxxx ...... Incidentally, my Migraines always start in my right eye and as long as i immediately take a Rizatriptan tablet, it stops it from progressing. However, if it starts in my sleep, i wake up in agony and no amount of tablets will shift it and it gets worse and worse as the day wears on. After about 10 hours of my right eye being all puffed up in agony and constantly watering very badly and me being rendered bedbound, it eventually stars to fade. Sometimes i don't get another one for weeks or months, then other times, i get a cycle of them for the rest of that week and they totally debilitate me. As a precaution, i always carry my Triptan tablets in my handbag, just in case i get an attack while i am out shopping etc ... I am 60 years old now and i have been crippled by these horrid headaches since i was 18 years old, but apart from this affliction, thankfully, i am in great physical health for my age.

The Marvelettes, Mary Wells and Martha and the Vandellas were never UNSUNG or "UNDERRATED." The Marvelettes had the first #1 with "Please Mr. Postman" in 1961; Mary Wells was considered Motown's "First Lady," 1962's "You Best Me To The Punch," "The One Who Really Loves You," and 1964's "My Guy" (The Supremes did background vocals). Martha and The Vandellas Had 3 #1 hits in 1963; all penned by H-D-H; "Come And Get These Memories," "Heat Wave" and "Quicksand.". 1964, "Dancing In The Street" and 1967's "Jimmy Mack." In regards to a Marvin Gaye biopic, there was one that was partially filmed but never released. It's called Sexual Healing, and stars Jessie L. Martin from Rent and was supposed to focus on his later life when he was living overseas, his drug addiction, and the creation of his Midnight Love album. His estate was completely against from the beginning so they couldn't get the rights to the music and they couldn't secure full funding so it went unfinished. There's 4 minutes of it on RUclips.
