Oh, I assume that comment is talking about the JAM Project version? Is there even a noticeable difference to the classic animation?

I'm not really sure but I think they rearrange some cuts to suit the cover version of the Jam Project one. The main difference for me is the Jam project version feels like a refined rock band cover, while the original feels like "put your every soul in it even if you sound like a cat being butchered" kind of homey indie feel. ♥️

JAM Project goes hard in a professional sense but the original singing version is insanely charming and heartfelt. Both are worth a listen now and then.

@@Teddemon_Original You should check out the original again. The parts where his singing gets noticeably more tone deaf aligns with the parts of the song where he is desperate to recapture his childhood. The singing is actually really good in parts where he isn't intentionally singing bad for the motif.
