You'll take everything out before it re-submerges once. It makes the S-rank a bit tighter to get with scoring but it should still be fine if you nail enough drones.
They never said it was a simulator so you can have all the crazy planes you want lol. I like flying crazy jets, first you see them on a random mission and wish you could have it then later you're fighting it and actually aquire it. I would like to have a PC and play that DCL or whatever it's called, an actual jet flying sim and have a flight stick and star citizen to go with.

By the time this mission happened, they're still in the midst of the Lighthouse War. Osea already has a bad image to other countries for harming civilian lives in their strikes unlike Erusea.
Spoiler I'm really hoping that explosion at the end wasn't the captain scuttling with a nuke...otherwise everyone on the neighboring ships just got a radioactive shower.
Even if it wasn’t a warhead that caused it, there was still those 2 nuclear reactors on board. As for how much radiation everyone else was exposed to, it would depend on how deep the Alicorn was when it exploded. Water is a pretty good shielding material. ~10 feet of water will reduce the dose rate of gamma and beta by a factor 10. 20 feet will do it by 100, 30 feet by 1000, and so on.

It could probably still vls underwater but you spend the first half of the mission pinging it’s location so it’s compromised and decides to bring out all the weaponry and aircraft it has. Also the captain is a nutcase and likes to flex his railguns.

The Alicorn actually does use a EM jammer in this mission if the fight drags on long enough.

Oh the XFA-27 is always broken as far as mobility and agility go.
Its real advantage is the fact that, thanks to the MSTMs, it can fire six regular missiles at any individual target in quick succession.

The VL-ASROC damaged it so that it couldn't permanently stay underwater. Might as well attack if you're forced to surface.
