Yeah, that’s fair on Friday the 13th, but I really like half of the films with Part 2, 4, 6, 7 and remake. The setting is also just really cool. I would definitely put it higher than TCM as I consider 2, 4 and 6 to be better than any of the TCM sequels or remakes.
Also I think Friday the 13th as a franchise is way better than the Halloween franchise. Maybe I’m too much of a purist for Halloween that I really dislike the sequels because of that perfect ending.
Yeah, but what do you think about Zombie's _Halloween_ films as they are totally separate from the original _Halloween_ series? Oh, yes, what about Zombie's "Halloween" 1 & 2? Do you like them or hate them? 🎃👻🤡🔪🎃
Black Christmas?
The Descent?
The Exorcist?
😮😮
...and 28 Days/Weeks?
I would love to see a standalone slasher tier list with stuff like The Burning or The Prowler. And you can include the first installments of slasher franchises too if you want.
Fun tier ranking. I typically don’t care for tiers. It always feels a bit like a semi ranking but this was fun.
Alien
Predator
Then everything else
I think The Descent could’ve been an honorable mention on here. I understand why you didn’t put them on here because I forget about those movies too sometimes, and a lot of people wouldn’t call it a typical “franchise”
Favorite RUclipsr posted another banger 🤝
RIP 🙏 Tony Todd! Absolute legend in not just horror films but motion pictures as a whole
I haven't seen every VHS film either. There's like millions of them and I don't have enough time in my day.
As someone who would probably put Friday The 13th and Halloween in S tier because I grew up with them I totally respect you for not putting them high just because a lot of people like them. It's really rare to find someone who forms their own opinion and thinks for themselves nowdays
Agreed
Halloween is number 1 to me even though it has some timeline issues
Kind of you to give a brief loving tribute to Tony Todd.
No Tremors?
Sci-fi/action not horror
“Ultimately Pennywise is defeated because they talk shit to him” made me laugh out loud
Anaconda or Jaws better be S tier that’s all I’m saying those truly are masterpieces
It's franchises though. Jaws has one amazing movie and the rest are... not so good. It'll probably be very low. Can't speak for Anaconda as I haven't seen any of them
@ im being sarcastic lol I’m poking fun on how bad the rest of the Jaws movies are
@@Je0s06 oh my bad haha
ratio
@@samsmabbington1237 Lies the Jaws franchise is an undistinguished and underappreciated masterpiece that truly defined the genre's expectations and blew audience's minds away
Cody calling Chris Mintz Mclovin so casually got me🤣
RIP Tony Todd
As a huge Halloween fan, and someone who enjoys almost all of them, Not Bad is a fair grade for the Franchise as a whole
Great tier list. X trilogy is not for me but love your tier list and explanations. I wasn’t shook by not loving Friday the 13th franchise. It’s my faveeee but I respect ppl who say it is more rinse and repeat.
They should release a practical edition of the thing prequel, knowing that a lot of the effects were just cgi on top of the puppets, as a peacock exclusive.
