One thing about the Saints is that they always do a nice job with undrafted players.
That one guy Dallin holker seems like he could be TE1 for us here and potentially could develop into a great tight end in the league

Rattler was the best value pick of the entire draft. Even better, sounds like he is in a good fit of learning and developing and first once not be in the spotlight and be allowed to keep growing. His arm is phenomenol and he showed great leadership at South Carolina especially when protection was breaking down around him and he kept doing everything he could to win and build up his teammates.

I hope you are right. But predictions about 1st round qb pics,including top 10 qb pics,is anything but an exact science.Much less a 5th round pic.
But I know that he was the number 1 qb coming out of High School. And the team needs to do everything it can to find a franchise qb.Even if Carr turns out not to be a bust for us,he isn't getting any younger.
Kool Aid was named by his grandmother because when he was born he had a smile on his face that looked like the Kool Aid man. True story. Fun Fact. We now have 2 Senior Bowl MVPs on the team. What would be the odds in Vegas that that would happen to any team?????

Hello, All! N. E. Pats fan here. Spencer Rattler! CONGRATULATIONS! This low round pick of Spencer is an insult to him.
This is NOT a reflection on the N O Saints. It's a knock on the mystery as to why teams didn't draft him sooner. Rattler
was a much higher, valuable consideration....unknown why there was so much hesitation...maybe some old stuff from
high school or something. This kid is GOOD! I've followed him for the past 3 years, and I gotta tell ya, he's experienced,
confident, talented, a leader, well-based and mature. His cockiness has been refined. Special note that so many teams
overlooked: In 2023, the South Carolina Gamecocks had the nearly worst offensive line in the SEC (injuries, mix-and-match,
missing cohesiveness) thus compromising Spencer's performance and stats. Had south Carolina's offensive line been
equal to North Carolina's offensive line in the game where they played each other, South Carolina would have WON that
game (against Drake Maye, no less). Congrats to the Saints and you Saints fans. You are in for a treat!!!! Congratulations

I'm kinda glad we got Spencer Rattler bc now we have a player who can sit behind Carr for a couple of years and hopefully take off as the starter. Nothing against Haener but I think Rattler offers more.

Come on bro, I like this class but 2017 has pro bowlers Lattimore, Ramcyk, Marcus Williams, Kamara, Hendrickson, along with starters Anzalone now in Detroit and Al Quadin Muhammad for the Colts, with Deonte Harris (Harty) UDFA pro bowler at kick returner, I really like this draft but 2017 was epic

Ok now that the draft is over you won't be hearing from me nearly as much but I gotta give my rundown of the Saints 2024 draft class! Fuaga was a really good pick! Huge need filled! Inside the park home run!😂 Not a ball pimped to the upper deck but it still scored! 🤣😂Ya know! Kool-Aid is a great player and solidifies an already strong secondary but I thought bigger needs could've been addressed. Huge addition though! Bring it! I think Rattler comes in as the frontrunner for the backup job behind Carr. We didn't have a QB2. I think we do now. Relevant selection! Beyond that I honestly don't know enough about the players drafted to give an educated guess as to how it'll play out so I guess we'll see. But I DO hope that the kid from EKU wins a roster spot and a Guard job. Thanks.

Good thing we picked Kool-Aid when we did ,a bunch of corners were picked right after we picked him.
I find it very interesting that we have the last two Senior Bowl MVPs battling for backup QB, Fuaga, Kool Aid, Spencer, Bub, Boyd who I love and met with us a few times, Ford was the best coverage LB in the draft, dart throw at OT who Jahri Evans coached in the all star game and 15 UDFAs, Bub ran a 4.34 from my alma mater and he is alot better than given credit for, he destroyed the FSU secondary that was undefeated.. WhoDat⚜️
Some of these UDFAs are interesting TE Dalin Hooker I like alot, added WR competition, a punter, a few trench guys, a RB and a little bit of everything.. Now sign Risner and Renfrow or Chark, maybe Simmons, bring back Peat
A- love this draft and your absolutely right about Boyd and his 40+ reps on the bench, we have atleast 4 minimum immediate impact players in Fuaga, Kool Aid, Boyd and Ford with Bub a wild card and watch out for Dalin Hooker at TE

Bub fits into that Deebo style of WR, not saying he’s anything as good as Deebo, but he fits that role, that’s how I see him possibly being used, I personally would’ve like to have Brendan Rice but I’ll trust Kubiak

Yes Boyd is a monster he only fell in the draft because he doesn't fit the NFL prototype arm length. He will be a great contributing rotation guy... Also Ezirim could end up the best pick in this draft for the Saints.. Definitely a hidden gem. I think they will all be contributers by next year

My answer, it's actually in a plus 1 is because Michael Thomas had a year on his contract. He didn't play the year, so he's not to say Michael Thomas. So, it does kind of benefit the receiving core. We need another corner. Just in case to Shawn, Latimer goes Dor also, it's kind of like. Something I'd like to say. Sean Payton would do the next man up. It's kinda. I kinda get that little vibe on the next man up. When it comes to the next band up so it's kinda interesting. I knew we will get another run stopper. I knew we will get another corner. I knew get another quarterback. This puts pressure on Derek coeur. Because Derek Carr did not really perform that well last year, so. I honestly knew David Carr was trash from the start. And it's good that we got a younger quarterback to build around as well. If Derek Carr does get injured, ID of feel like and we had problems of mobile quarterbacks. So that is a plus we kind of did a decent draft. It wasn't really was more defensive and a little cause. You know, we're known to have a really good defense. And and I thought it was okay. I mean, it wasn't the greatest draft. Champagne will do better but I would definitely give it an a or an a plus who Ike and I actually kind of want a new coach as well. Guess who's the coach John gruden? That will make more sense to keep Derek Carr. And then everybody as a saints fan based. In my humble opinion will stop because Derek Carr and John gru coached and they're like brothers, so it is really. A good chemistry between quarterback and coach so it would be better than Dennis.Allen than Dennis Allen can switch back to his baby.Defense, John grunton can be offense.That would be better Nikki doom.It's a stupid if he doesn't do that.Because we are already hitting Nikki Loomis hard.But the draft was an a a plus a somewhere around there

I’m going to have to see something somewhere out of someone in this draft. The only two I think are value are Rattler and the Fuaga. The rest just seem like warm body picks with the exception of round 2 Koolaid. He got picked to trade Lattimore. Bet Lattimore beats him out.

Spencer is the only QB in this draft that’ll be a starter in 3-4 years..Bo nix played in the SEC and got his butt kicked he had to go to the pac 12 for success also he spent like 6 years in college..Spencer played in the SEC for fewer years and had lots of success and big moments.. Very foolish to choose bo over rattler.. 😂😂

I think we did OK, imma say a B or B+, the only homerun was Fuaga, Kool-Aid gonna need some first aid with that injury that I hope won't nag him during his career here. Proof is in the pudding, let's see how these picks pan out when they get baptized by fire during camp. Good luck to all the UDFA's...that's where the money is...always has been with the Saints.
