My shot was directly in front of a pillar and as wide as possible to account for movement, and thankfully he didn't stray out of frame too much. That room is hard to film in due to all the pillars in the centre, so the spot I chose is best because the pillars won't block the subject, and it's too close to the front for people to just stand up and block the shot.

You know, I've been watching TNG on Netflix recently and I'm into Season 4 now, but when I saw Lt. Barclay...I couldn't place him. Then I saw him again in Voyager...also on Netflix. Then it dawned on me. Lt. Barclay is from The A-Team! That is pretty cool.
Actually, the possibility is there for previous characters of Star Trek to make an appearance by way of the Holodeck. As Janeway used the holodeck to talk to Leonardo Da Vinci, Why not use it to bring back images of previous cast members? Granted there are those who have passed on, but the chance is there for some of those still alive to appear. Since Kirk died in Generations, he could still show up as a hologram. Would be interesting to see Picard and Kirk teamed up again.
