It was kentucky but that game winning drive was something we haven't seen a lot of it lately. Anytime Clemson has gone to Overtime or needed a game winning drive we knew we were done. Growth has to start somewhere. Loaded with talent, the Georgia game is gonna be a big tell. Go Tigers!!
How can you guys say DJ hasn’t developed? Did you not watch him play at all at Oregon State? He was clearly a better and more consistent QB there. If you’re basing your evaluation on his spring game at FSU, that’s nuts. He just got there and has to learn a new system and get timing down with receivers, etc. Based on Norvell’s track record with player development, I’d be surprised if he doesn’t have his best year statistically.
@@EvanFranklin25| DJU's QBR has matured from 108 (year 1) to 145 (OregonSt). DJU has a top 20 QBR last year. Can you name 1 WR/TE from that team last year?
@@shallojalloh QBR is one thing but how he looked and what he put out on the field is more important and he really didn’t do a whole lot different. He also had a top o line, running back, and tight end and Oregon states wide receivers (like Silas bolden)were pretty good so yeah DJU is mid keep coping💀
@EvanFranklin25 | You are making my point. In ur own words ORst had a better Oline n running back... that means DJUs clemson days was more about the lack of team around him than his development. That's exactly my point. We had a 1st year OC that shouldn't have been promoted. And we had subpar talent around him. Cade performances and numbers are worse than DJUs numbers at clemson. At some point we gotta stop being fanatics and Start using our eyes and brains my guy
@@shallojalloh But he wasn’t better at Oregon state my point was he had all of that help around him and was still mid and I never said anything abt Cade bc so far he has underperformed
Don't put too much stock in the spring show case for DJU they had 12 vanilla plays they ran and the defense (which is still good) was clued in to some of them from spring install. The FSU coaching staff is still reprograming DJU to be more efficient and confident in the new offense.
Your car analogy is flawed. *Part* of why DW4 and Trevor were so awesome is that they had monsters to throw to. I think Cade would look a lot better if he had a serious red zone threat. Who have we had that could make 50/50 balls into 80/20 balls since Tee Higgins? We could have been more aggressive bringing in offensive weapons and assets (linemen) which never would have stressed the tires out.
Cade has shown the ability to move the team up and down the field. The red zone has killed them and that`s not all his fault. Shipley dropped the ball so often inside the 5 i was ready to puke. They had over 500 yards against Duke last year but couldn`t put it in for points.
DJ hasn`t developed. I don`t think that means Streeter should have stayed, i think it just means DJ was over rated coming out of high school. I`ve been hanging with Cade so far, but he has to step up this year.
I am a Bama fan but i always listen in to teams that are good to see how the fans are seeing their teams chances this year. Plus i respect Clemson's program after the battles we've had. Roll tide & best of luck in y'all's season.
I still have PTSD from our DJ years.
Ps I miss your Bobby Dirkens videos. They are the funniest.
Ptsd? Youre still living it. Cade looks the same

I don't know. Dabo went and got the best available quarterback coach as well as OC in Garrett Riley yet the offense still looks stale.

He had 50% completion at oregon state and was mid overall that’s abt how he was at Clemson😂😂

Dang Brian, it's all going to heck. Get well soon. Heal the wall art!
Thanks Brian

Jase, I’m basing my thoughts on DJ mostly on his 3 years as a starter
Please also do an overview of Purdue and Georgia Southern Brian

They need to watch the sales movie Glen Gary Glen Ross the week before the game. Best line: "Always Be Closing."

Just praying for a top 12 placement 👀
I can`t think of a position where we`re a bit thin other than QB. He could try to get one in through the portal, but i`d be shocked if somebody bit.
You are totally right sir
The good QBs are already called for. Iowa's QB entered and he's one of the higher prospects. Iowa...

Yeah DJ has had what 4 years now and 3 different teams? If he still isn't NFL level it was mislabeling him as a 5 star. Should been a 3 star.
