I now know more about Dublin (and Irish culture) than I do about my own city, Aberdeen in Scotland. I can’t wait to visit Dublin (again) and go to Cork as soon as circumstances combine to make this possible. x
I have only been to Clontaf once and the guys who brought me there insisted we go to Harry Byrnes and they spotted Mattress Mick in the carpark so they all took a photo with him. I had no clue who he was at the time. This video really his the nail on the head
Rathfarnham has nothing remotely interesting, despite being the biggest area of Dublin, stretching from Terenure to the Dublin Mountains. The only interesting things in Rathfarnham are Wilson's butchers and the massive Dealz, both of which are in Templeogue.
