I have been watching this channel and other solar channels for months and finally just 2 weeks ago bought this exact Unit. It was on sale for $679 plus a 5% off coupon got it down to $645. I've only had it a few days, but it does everything it says it will do, for half the price of those other brands. I think it looks nice and feels Well made.
On the website you can do the 1500LFP + the 3kwh expansion battery for $1700 total(no tax, which they didn't charge for me in FL). That ends up being 4.5KWH with 1200 solar charging input(400w from the expansion battery).
A big selling point for me was the xt60 30amp DC output for my diesel heater when overlanding in winter. I cut the stock cords battery rings off and modified the end to plug into the 30amp out on this pecron. No problems with startup draw on the heater when the glow occasionally draws 150-200w when starting. I can run my Hcalory diesel heater 75hrs with this thing in back of my truck. I can run my BougeRV fridge and diesel heater easily for about a week b4 getting out the 200w panel to recharge
Could you include UPS switching in your testing? It's one of the main features I look for in a power station, and the main reason I've gone with bluetti over ecoflow
Which products from Jackery, Anker, or Ecoflow offer a 1536wh power station for $699? I'm not sure where you got a $1299 price tag. They were $799 at launch. Good luck with the Pecron app. If you're not connected via Bluetooth or the same WIFI network as the power station, it almost never let's you use it remotely. Pecron is supposed to be working on a fix but they've had plenty of time so I'm not optimistic at this point. EDIT: The app now works as intended
I think the Pecron E3600 as its only power station to take 30amp AC input and charge 3200watts and still offer pass through. Definitely try to get your hands on one.
I completely disagree with your opinion on the looks. The look of this will easily outlast many others because it's unassuming and simple. I like the overall features for this reputable company.
I have 3 pecrons.... I like that you have to use power to AC or DC to check save phantom power plus they are really efficient... Mine are hooked up to solar so most of the time display is on vs at night....
@@TheSolarLab NO, because some of us actually pay attention to Pecron pricing. I know you have a channel to run so you might not know but Pecron have never had this for $1299. Their price have always been $899 and below $699 on sale. I've seen this unit for $599- 5% off and NO TAX. There's no power station with similar specs anywhere close to this price. This is why Pecron has a following.
I would buy the pecron, used for maybe 400 bucks… I just bought an older eco flow with solar panels nib for 500 … I like the orange and the top phone charger feature.
I've been seeing more and more of these around. I'm with you on the looks, but I do like the wireless charger on top. Appreciate you sharing this with the people!
So you think the Jackery 1000 Plus matches up with the Pecron 1500? The Pecron has 20% more power (2200 watts vs. 2000), 19% more watt-hours (1536 vs 1264), has the dreaded "waisted space" (no wireless charger), and I have never seen it selling for $1,200 since its inception. Today, Aug. 3, 2024, it's on sale for $700 vs the Jack for $1,000, that's 30 per cent less! The only real problem with it is the power drain when the AC inverter is left on. It draws more than 1000 watt hours in 24 hours! So make sure you turn off the AC inverter when it's not being used.
Reminds me of Fernando. It’s not how you feel, it’s how you look. Should we start reviewing RUclips content based on the information provided or the perceived appearance?
On sale for $599. Hope you do a review of the E3600LFP. Looking ways to power camper I am gutting and getting close to time to for new electrical system.
so, is the surge advertised wrong/misleading: *from their site* --> E1500LFP Power station With the 1536Wh,Max expandable to 7680Wh capacity (Used the EP3000-48V)2200W rated power(Surge 4400W)
I think you missed a great opportunity that this unit has over others. It has the ability to turn on a diesel heater with the DC port only. EcoFlow and other units their dc ports only output about 130 watts, a diesel heater requires 150 watts to run and start the glow plug, and price is $659, otherwise a great video.
The EcoFlow Delta 2 Max is a little more expensive but has a bigger capacity, output and better features in our opinion. We think it's worth the extra money. However, the Pecron 1500 unit is also solid. You'll be happy with either purchase!
So true! I don't care what the thing looks like, all I want is performance as stated and a solid warrantee. In my view, this looks like what its supposed to be.
Man, you keep repeating $1299 when Pecron have never sold this unit for $1299. Always been $899 and on sale for much cheaper. I've seen $599 with 5% off and NO TAX.
You are a more on. $699. 30amp output. Expandable to ~7600wh. Smaller. Lighter. (And I don’t even own one). Comparing it to the jackery 1000?? First and last time watching your channel
Ok Ive had my Pecron 1500LFP for about 20 minutes. Its charging on a wall socket and the fans are going. Its a noticeable sound. The AC cord is comically short. I havent measured but I'd be charitable in calling it two and a half feet. The App is awful. So bad that I cant even tell you what its like because it is locked behind an online registration that is laughably bad. I dont know that I will even bother with it. But if the thing charges up and powers the stuff I need it to, the drawbacks are just part of the toll.

List price is $1299 but it has regularly been on sale at $700 or a little less.
@@michaelbeatty130 it's never actually been $1299. That's just some BS to make people think it's on sale
@@Bamabrute85 True. Quite a lot of what I call The Big Fake-Out in advertising...in other words, lies.

You should get your hands on the 3600. After all, who doesn't like a bigger Percron?
Got mine thru pecron for 649.00 with first time buyer discount
He's never 1299$. It's 100% time sale. The real prise turn around 699$ and 899$. The actual price was 699$.
if we go ahead and say that though.. then the price changes, we are dumb. its better to advertise actual price and you find out its on sale no?

It's been $599 all month (also, no sales tax since the payment processing happens in Hing Kong)

great video as always. Can you do a video about pecron e3600LFP? Looking to see if this can do peak shaving as you have been advocating! Thank you!
i got 2 and both wont charge from 700 w port and the phone chargers don"t work. they dont oner there prodicks
So your major issue seemed to be its looks....
When I'm looking for emergency power, looks certainly are at the top of my list

Picked this up on Ebay refurbished for $629
Never see anyone offer this at $1299. Your pricing is way off.
Asking for an inefficient Qi charger in something like a portable power station is ridiculous.
@thesolarlab what do you think pecron 1500lfp vs eco delta max 2? I dont know what to get. Im so confused

Check the link above and it is now $599.
Its's ugly but looks like a power station. Major brands look like other things . Bluetti-printer. EcoFlow-desktop tower. Jackery-Playmate cooler 😁

You lose credibility when you are SO far off on the price.
LOL we're off on the price today, but probably spot on again in a couple weeks... the price changes every 5 minutes on these things 😂
Lower on Amazon right now.
