    Thank you so much for posting the recipe! I’m currently trying this right now as I’m going to be burning the midnight oil making food for Wigilia (Polish Christmas Eve). It’s so helpful to have a bread machine for times like these. I’m so happy that this is one less thing that I have to babysit. Lord knows how tedious making pierogi and kołaczki from scratch can be haha. Thank you, again. Merry Christmas and God bless!

    Thank you Dorinda I will try this, it came out beautiful, rye isn't easy b coz of its lower gluten content. Where I was born in London we had Jewish bakery nearby and I always remember the wonderful smell of the rye bread they baked and also the distinct aroma of the carroway seeds. 😀👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼❤️🎄

    Hello! At what stage do you remove the paddle? I made a rye bread years ago, and I need to give it another go.

    Could I substitute buttermilk add an egg instead of the water, apple cider vinegar, and potato flakes?

    • @ButterflyMeadowsHomestead
      @ButterflyMeadowsHomestead  Месяц назад

      Sure just make sure the buttermilk and egg equals the amount of water and acv. Just leave the potato flakes out if you want. It might not be as soft without them but still very good.

      @@gemini314 I usually just use whichever one I have on hand. I don’t think it would make too much difference. i’m glad you found me too. Thank you.
