Ji soo's character is like the silver lining of all the complex and tangled confusions in this drama. She was very resourceful, bright, and ready to go beyond limit for her loved ones, but still has a clumsy side that make her a real human. Once she died, almost all main characters in this drama were torn.
*_I kept thinking of what could have been if she survived, is my ship finally gonna sail? Will Seung Mo finally gonna show his feelings for her? if there's any? even a little bit? and my heart breaks every time_*
I think they killed Eun Ji Soo because Seong Mo will be imprisoned for 11 years but if Seong Mo was'nt the arsonist of the Yeongseong Apartment, and the one who killed the three women, I think they will not kill her character so that Seong Mo and Ji Soo will end up together.

I had also expected that seungmo would die in the end while thinking about her or maybe commit suicide but that didn't happen so I am actually a bit disappointed..... It was my favorite ship and I think that the ending could have been better....
I expected that the words that would follow after Seong Mo said "I'm sorry if I was late" would be "I love you" when he visited Jisoo's grave. But oh well. Even though he didn't say the words, the scene was a bit subtle and showed that Seong Mo did love her.

They were perfectly opposite to each other! She was anything but warm, wearing her heart on her sleeves. He was cold and closed off. She couldn't hide her feelings. And he hid it so well that even he wasn't aware he had any feelings. She saw the good in people, believed he wasn't a monster. And he couldn't unsee the darkness within himself. I knew he cared for her but I wasn't so sure until he screamed "Andwae" when she got stabbed. The scream was enough to know how much he cared for her. And when he cried for her. Told his mother that she was dear to him and kept pushing her away. It was obvious she was the one he loved. And how she made him laugh out loud (photoshoot) says it all. He showed his extreme emotions for her!!! (somebody tell me i am not overanalysing this!!!) I didn't expect this show to turn so dark. It was such a beautiful tragedy!!!

a big regret is that Jisoo died without knowing that *the woman Seungmo loved as a woman was her* I'm crying a lot right now, and there's a part where Seungmo says to his mother in tears and accidentally admits that he loves Jisoo by saying "he killed someone I love.."

But....if you watch till the end...Kang seong mo goes to prison and sentence for 13 years because of the apartment case.....from here you can see they will still not to be together at the ending and it will make eun jisoo suffered more seeing someone she loves be in the prison....the point is both of them doesn't have a good ending......... Still can’t get over it. I just finished the drama and I’m still upset. I loved her. Everyone loved her in the drama. It was painful. I cried for the last 3 videos. When it showed everyone crying somewhere it was so hard especially when jinyoung went to read her hand with psychometric. It was just so fucken sad I can’t get over how this drama ended. I loved all the actors I didn’t want it to end up this way

Yes. Her death was important for the story's development. Thank God they just forget her after 1 episode. After death, there will be atleast 2 scenes refering her ( just to break my heart) which also showed how great she was. Appreciating the writter for doing this, because as a writer's pov, her death was needed. But also didn't just cut her off. This might be the reason why we still remember this drama.
Memo to me: Don't search for dramas you haven't finished yet on RUclips, because you never know what you'll find xD I've watched the first two episodes and I didn't think this would be the type of drama where the main characters die, so I thought it was pretty safe to put the drama's name into the search bar xD
Just finish watching it on Viu yesterday (May 16, 2020), didn't sleep on the night of May 15 just to end the last 3 episode, I know that they already hint us about it but I never thought they will really drop a bomb like this. Althought Meong So didn't confess about his feelings, there were these scenes that he was hinting that he is jealous and pissed off, most especially when Ji Soo told him that she's on a blind date, and that gives me a lot of hope that one day, after all of the mysterious cases they have, they will end up together. You know I am very much clinging to that hope but it broke me, I cannot stand Meong So, hearing him crying because of her really broke my heart (if you want to re-watch that scene here it is ruclips.net/video/xs0rngaQ6G4/видео.html let us all cry again and again). Now that the judge decided to sentence meong so for 13 years in jail, it's so frustrating for me. Come to think of it, from the day you were born you only see 4 corners of the cage for fucking 9 years and then jailed for 13 years with the saddest fact that the girl you love died because of your mess you were just trying to solve and end. Your beloved brother hates you, you protected a lil sis and end up hating you too, I know they'll eventually forgive him but if Ji Soo is still Alive for sure she'll be the best friend who will try to understand him, cheer him up and see him everyday, she will help Lee Ahn to forgive his brother someday and she'll remind him to please visit him. And You become prosecutor for your mother but ended up in jail. My point here is, Seong Mo deserves a girl who will embrace all of his flaws and will welcome him with open arms after 13 years in jail. Who knows he'll develop a trauma...again?? Its very sad but we all know it was one of the best twist to break the cliche. I just wish they'll have an upcoming drama where they're the two lead. 😭😭 Meong So crying still haunts me and I cannot proceed to my next kdrama on list.

I don't know why I always like re-watching this scene when this just hurts me like why do they have to kill her when she was one of the good characters from this drama and Seong mo was starting to feel love towards her and they were one of the best couples in this drama this is so sad when she died, they lost the only girl who was with them from the start til the end

Still can’t get over it. I just finished the drama and I’m still upset. I loved her. Everyone loved her in the drama. It was painful. I cried for the last 3 videos. When it showed everyone crying somewhere it was so hard especially when jinyoung went to read her hand with psychometric. It was just so fucken sad I can’t get over how this drama ended. I loved all the actors I didn’t want it to end up this way

Yes. Her death was important for the story's development. Thank God they just forget her after 1 episode. After death, there will be atleast 2 scenes refering her ( just to break my heart) which also showed how great she was. Appreciating the writter for doing this, because as a writer's pov, her death was needed. But also didn't just cut her off. This might be the reason why we still remember this drama.
Memo to me: Don't search for dramas you haven't finished yet on RUclips, because you never know what you'll find xD
I've watched the first two episodes and I didn't think this would be the type of drama where the main characters die, so I thought it was pretty safe to put the drama's name into the search bar xD
Just finish watching it on Viu yesterday (May 16, 2020), didn't sleep on the night of May 15 just to end the last 3 episode, I know that they already hint us about it but I never thought they will really drop a bomb like this. Althought Meong So didn't confess about his feelings, there were these scenes that he was hinting that he is jealous and pissed off, most especially when Ji Soo told him that she's on a blind date, and that gives me a lot of hope that one day, after all of the mysterious cases they have, they will end up together. You know I am very much clinging to that hope but it broke me, I cannot stand Meong So, hearing him crying because of her really broke my heart (if you want to re-watch that scene here it is ruclips.net/video/xs0rngaQ6G4/видео.html let us all cry again and again).
Now that the judge decided to sentence meong so for 13 years in jail, it's so frustrating for me. Come to think of it, from the day you were born you only see 4 corners of the cage for fucking 9 years and then jailed for 13 years with the saddest fact that the girl you love died because of your mess you were just trying to solve and end. Your beloved brother hates you, you protected a lil sis and end up hating you too, I know they'll eventually forgive him but if Ji Soo is still Alive for sure she'll be the best friend who will try to understand him, cheer him up and see him everyday, she will help Lee Ahn to forgive his brother someday and she'll remind him to please visit him. And You become prosecutor for your mother but ended up in jail.
My point here is, Seong Mo deserves a girl who will embrace all of his flaws and will welcome him with open arms after 13 years in jail. Who knows he'll develop a trauma...again?? Its very sad but we all know it was one of the best twist to break the cliche.
I just wish they'll have an upcoming drama where they're the two lead. 😭😭 Meong So crying still haunts me and I cannot proceed to my next kdrama on list.
