Had to speed up the video that is mildly interesting, rich in promises but poor in informing anything else actually happening.
Maybe links to actually on-going planning and reports on the project feasibility studies would be more interesting to read?

A lot of videos on YT of the "New Delta Plan" of egypt, of the Qattara-Lake-Project, of the "second nile project" etc. etc. - but no maps, no construction details, no financing details... in the software industry, they call such stuff "Vaporware" it "evaporates" if you look closer...
Fact is: Egypt is one of the countries in the world with the fastest growing population. Fact is: Egypt is "a gift of the nile" - and thanks to dam´s, more and more irrigation projects, an fast growing population, and a lot of pollution, the amount of water available for egypt agriculture, industry and population is shrinking and the quality of (drinking-) water in egypt is also a problem. And unemployment is also a problem in egypt. And thanks to an government that is highly islamic influenced, birth control is not even considered as an possible solution. The problems are growing and growing. And there is an government in egypt that is "not so completly" democratic. (what western (especially us american) media often "forget" to mention because they need the egypt government as an allie in the region.) And what will such an government do to give hope to its population and silence critics - selling "big dreams". Have governments like this always done - Adolf H. and the Nazis dreamt about "Germania" and "Wonderweapons" and german settlers in the east of europe etc. etc.

Bla bla bla The only useful way is to dig à canal or install a pipeline to send Nil water to this depression therefore making a huge reservoir of fresh water allowing irrigation to the desert in order to develop cultures in the desert.

The Nile does not produce enough water to fill the depression. A hydro electric plant can produce fresh water by desalination to form a separate reservoir for irrigation.

@@johnburns4017 I do not see any reason why the Nil flow would not be enough, except because of the pollution if taken downstream towns and industries.

Because qattara depression is the size of FKING SLOVENIA
Also You cant just kill or displace 100 000 million people by diverting Nile, You know about 100 000 people depend on the Nile-
Your idea would be alright many thousand years ago.
Redirecting Nile is not the option.

The eastern Med's water would be affected if the fresh water from the Nile does not enter. Ramifications.

This gonna destroy the delta area
The only way if they want to take the Nile water needs a lot of construction in Rasheed and take the water after Rasheed not before ... Anyway qattara has a lot of salt in it it won't work well and will make the water salty
