Elvis never failed to deliver. Love this version and also original. No matter what he sang Elvis was great, and there will never be his like ever again. He was and still is the best of the best.
This is his best version! PERFECT CADENCE
Have to give a shout out to Ronnie Tutt and the band How great they are too........ Elvis as always unbelievable
Yes! They are so great!
In 72 this song was number 2 on Billboard 100 and number 1 on cashbox. His documentary Elvis on tour got a golden Globe for best documentarie of the year. And he broke The Madison Square gardens Record as he sold it out 4 times in a row !!

If Elvis sings it then it is wonderful
THE KING FOREVER!!
Elvis the greatest! Nobody greater in the world than him.
I think the original version is better, I remeber the time when it came out and heard it the first time on the radio..... great !!!! Elvis was and is the king no matter what
Jkr K I agree the original is better.
Simply the KING . Prefer the original master .
He was like a fine wine, just kept getting better with time, Love Him!!!! The King 4-Ever!!!
ELVIS PRESLEY was one awesome a great singer a Entertainer. Everything about him was awesome a unbelievable
Whether it's the original, or the orchestra version, I love them both! It's Elvis, 'nuff said 😎
Period!!!
I was 10 when Elvis came on the scene. Have been a fan from beginning to to end. Saw him in concert twice. Unbelievable experience. Greatest Entertainer of all the centuries. I agree with John Lennon before Elvis there was nothing.
The main instrument was his voice everything else was just back drop! Spectacular!
You got that right
Mic Drop!!!

1972 was a great year for elvis. He was in great shape
Yes he was! One of his best years.
yea 1968-1972 was the golden time!
@@-Gold- True! After the Aloha from Hawaii concert in early 1973, the highlights were fewer and further apart.
1972 was a great year, I got to see Elvis in person from the 11th row....as a preteen. It's still one of the most exciting experiences of my life! I was also fortunate enough to see him a 2nd time, but from the cheap seat. Thank you Mother & Daddy!!! 😍
@@gigimoore3738 omg!!!! Was he outstanding and sexy?
Both are great. Elvis is the key!
The king rules 👑👑👑
Yes he does!!
Can u hear me
@@suestreets8891??
The orchestra addition worked well on this , when I saw him in concert he walked out on stage and said " Hi , I'm Johnny Cash " ; not kidding.
That's amazing! 😁 Thanks for sharing.
I prefer. the original, but like both of them. With Elvis I don't think you can go wrong!😊

the orchestrated tracks by elvis are great this is no exception, very good your reaction greetings from chile
Thank you very much! Have a great day! Greetings from Germany.
Always love it when Elvis has a full orchestra behind him I think the album that he did with the Royal Philharmonic orchastra is really great. Once again don't think I've ever seen this clip, really like it...♡
Connie Leighton I love it too!
Elvis did not do that with the philharmonic orchestra
Elvis had his own orchestra.
They took his songs and did it long after his death.
Dd
@@dabdella1460 the info on the clip says it's with the RPO so im not sure what your talking about, yes Elvis had his own band but he worked with other orchestra's occasionally...♡
Go check the remix release date it is not in elvis presley s lifetime.
Dd
@@connieleighton4375 Elvis had his own orchestra all along. This London orchestra was only added a few years ago
I love Elvis
Absolutely magnificent song and the orchestra sound awesome adding to the breathtaking voice of Elvis ❤
Absolutely fantastic
The Royal Phiharmonic Orchestra did a good job here. I covered this song with my band before adding a little hard rock in it. Both versions are great.
Check out If I Can Dream with the Philharmonic Orchestra. Great arrangement with the full choir.
Carlos Dumpit Thank you! That’s awesome. I’ll check it out!
John both are awesome you do amazing sir love your stuff

This was okay. However, I truly LOVE the live version from Hawaii!!

I SAW THE ROYAL PHILARMONIC AT THE 02 IN LONDON 2 YEARS AGO,WITH ELVIS ON SCREEN,PLAYING THIS AND MANY OTHERS,TOTAL SELL OUT ,HE WOULD HAVE LOVED IT.THE BEST.
Wow awesome!
Original Rocks! Love the rocker feel it has. I like orchestra for its effort to keep Elvis alive but it's overbearing in some parts, guess that was the point.
My best version ❤️

Thank you so much love you
Thank you!
Hey john gotta watch just pretend in Las Vegas live 1970 okay buddy love your reactions keep up the good work on the king never ever ever ever ever be another in my generation or yours buddy
Vincent Lepore You are right! Thank you so much. I‘ll react to it soon!
This is a rare video version of the song
The LPO mix was superb --better than the original in MHO. Dennis Linde, the author of the song wrote two more tunes for Elvis :"I Got A Feeling In My Body" and "For The Heart." Both are excellent. You should feature them sometime. You have a wonderful channel. You are sincere and really enjoy the music.
Thank you so much! Really appreciate it!
I love the original it's my favorite but I like this one
Correct...the arrangement was amazing.
bravo les jeunes écouter et vous apprendrez beaucoup à l'école Elvis
Rock an roll all the way, thank you John, I am off a age were I like the 70s version, but this one is fantastic xx
Greetings From Super Extremes - Sri Lanka
❤️🙏 Greetings from Munich, Germany!
Love it
Now time to listen to suspicious minds
Elvis Presley didn't want to record Burning Love as he was more into ballads and gospel during the early 1970s.
Great song reaction ❤️
Thank you very much! 😊
I'm like you, I really like both versions
wow John you get a lot of likes and comments...awesome 👍
Thanks so much!! ❤️
He changed a lot here
Live versions from November 72 are best by far, then earl 73, and 75 as well.
Original studio is good, but love live versions!
Fact about this song, he had trouble remembering the lyrics for some
odd reason. Despite having a catalogue of music in his head like no
other artist, he often times took the words onstage and apologized to
the audience for forgetting the words. He did not like doing this song for
that reason, despite it's success.
Richard Eidemiller Thanks for the comment! Somehow the lyrics of Burning Love are hard to remember. I play a cover version of it with my band and I never get through it without messing up the lyrics haha.
The opening scenes took place when he was practicing the song. It was brand new to him. Later in 1975 and thereafter he would bring the lyric sheets on stage with him as he did with "Bridge Over Troubled Water."
If you feel Elvis the way I do, you might want to check out his Unchained Melody where he plays the piano. People dont realize he had vocal range. The other one I love is How Great Thou Art. I feel blessed to be able to watch and hear these.
I‘ll definitely check them out! Thank you!
I prefer this version to the original. I really wish he could've been here to hear this version.
🌟🎤🤴🏼🇪🇬majesty
I love the intro
Thank you!
Oddly for me, this is the best version of this song... uses some of actual 70's track, particularly the vocal... but this song although No.1, or Top Ten in that time, was never Elvis' favorite... I find his vocal is not as explosive as it could've been, those last repetitive high notes an afterthought to the production...
Surprisingly the rigorous string arrangement adds a lustre & dimension to the sound of the track, making this song a bit bigger & fuller as a hit single... Although not a big fan of the Philharmonic revisions ( as opposed to most excellent Gospel release of this past year), this one seems to really rock & the strings percuss with some fun flourishes; an improvement also done to the sound of the original track... a good revisit all around
Yes! I like it too.
