Very happy i backed this one. I back all Valeria games (Shadow Kingdoms being my fave so far), but this one looks great. Also getting the Shadow Kingdoms expansion and they inserts for both. Should be receiving my pledge next Tuesday! Castellans also looks fantastic.
Jon, you consistently make these more involved puzzly games look so simple, not to mention you're playing 3 different characters. I like a lot of stuff here but I can also see myself being easily overwhelmed by the number of choices available.
as a beta tester to this game. It is interesting to see the changes that were made. For example, the tiles there were 5 green and 5 grey tiles put out each round and not the 4/6 with 4 prestige tiles (They were just part of the grey tiles). The other change I saw was the statues, the lightning was immediate at the time of placement (I think). It not being immediately does allow to play a bit differently. Edit to add also the 9 student limit was something that came about towards the end of the beta testing. initially you could have as many students as you wanted. The 9 limit does put a little more pressure on getting them graduated and on to quests where before it was just keep the students dumb to activate the buildings, then in the last round go out and hit all the quests. 2nd Edit: Just got to the questing part of the video, that changed as well. During beta all students that couldn't go on a card could still do a generic questing and be worth something before going to the bag. Also the quest track is new. There wasnt a way to move tiles in Beta, no idea how that can change up the game (though guessing makes it easier to score higher victory points come end game. For end of round, it was just one of each tile, favor, professorthat slid off. There was no 2 removals.

Very nicely done. You make it look very simple and do a great job of explaining all aspects in an organized and logical way. Thankyou!

Amazing teach, thank you so much!
this game reminds another game that is called Lords of waterdeep where you hire different type af agents, built and complete quests
This looks pretty difficult to play for 3 players at once 😅. Nicely done!
I'm glad you liked it :)
FINALLY!!!
50:00 is the meeting hall for any building? Or only buildings with one guild symbol?
I think it's any type, but if you hear otherwise then please let me know.
