*I totally botched Russell Crowes' character in Gladiator. It's Maximus, not Marcus. Ignore that part!

Glad i am not the only person who likes to write what they want, before they draw it.
That way, i can play with the prompt and change it up to see which works.

For the panels you drew I'm imagining the worm creature letting the warrior pass only if he agrees to bring one of her eggs to a distant hatching ground that she isn't able to get to for some reason.

Stumbled upon your channel. I really enjoy the unedited, raw, traditional sketching and off the cuff talking about drawing.

You are totally right about ideas selling not quality, I needed to hear that from someone with experience as I am a student at SCAD still. In my creative process as a footwear/accessory designer I lack the skills to get what I see in my head on paper quickly in multiple angles. I can make it physically no problem but sketch’s and drawings of products sell big time in the industry. Ur videos have helped a ton
You mentioned a background in industrial design, I was curious if you have any advice on how to personalize your big printout storyboards while keeping them professional

Great topic! Always break out my tablet before starting on your videos. :)
Question: do you ever need to block out a drawing before jumping into details, to figure out shapes/lighting?

Mr. Bobby I would like for an answer to this. Why is it that when I’m not thinking of what I’m want to draw it comes out good, but when I’m thinking about what I want to draw it not good at all. So can you tell me ?

    • @bobbyrebholz2183

It happens to everyone! It's because your mind is flowing freely without the need of overcorrection. This is why I stress to all artists about thumbnailing and scribbling ideas down. When you loosen up without the burden of making everything perfect, it allows you to make lines you normally wouldn't.

Nice art work, however maybe I misunderstood, but I thought you were going to tell a story with just the artwork. However you used captions, the same as any comic book. Telling a story without the captions is much more difficult.

Right. Making the video difficult for the sake of being difficult wouldn't help beginners.
