i think the beginning scenes of the horse stampede was the footage from the beginning of the movie "Mac & Me"
My aunt introduced me to this only because her and I rode our horses in the exact same place 23 years ago. This was amazing to see since I went back to the photos I took at the time and compared them to this video.
Where was this filmed? Looks like good elk country. The Aspen trees were chewed up so they're wintering there.
I poached two mule deer (winter meat for a single mom) in the same meadow where John Wayne put the reins in his teeth in True Grit.

@@kellywalker8407 It is a few miles south of Kremmling, Colorado somewhere along the Blue River. I tried to find my aunt's old house on Google Earth, but it has been so many years, I can't remember exactly where to look. However, the distant mountain range is known as The Eagles Nest, but knowing my aunt's sense of humor, she called it the "Sleeping Indian," because one mountain had the look of a Native American's head dress.

@philiproyd6563 Thanks for the info. I'm a southwest Colorado boy but have ventured up in that north park area a time or two. Bought a helluve good filly/young mare in Walden but that was 35 years ago and I sure didn't recognize the country. Thanks again.
@@kellywalker8407 I had lived in Colorado only for 15 months being on a construction crew in Steamboat Springs at the time. Eventually, I moved back to my home state of Washington, but the beauty of Colorado will forever be with me.

It's the banjo and her voice to be able to sing all those tones, in her own originality, that's what captivated me about her and this song. She sings beautifully and deserves her success in the future.
As one who was raised in Florida, I can relate intellectually and physically to the rising tide part. I like the 10,000 foot eyes part as it reminds me that we need to look at our life through Heaven’s eyes. I also happened to live near the mountains in Colorado, a place my grandparents took us kids to get us away from parental turmoil at home. The breath taking beauty here is awesome :)
