Ashley just put a little block under the line at each end rafter to keep it clear of the rest.

NO NO NO oh gaaaaaaaaaawd i'm feeling queezy watching that string line arrangement. Please knock a nail in at both ends and slide the string up the nail a bit. Nothing must ever ever ever without exception touch a line!

🤣🤣 sorry to make you queeezy pal! I’ll try better next time! In my defence the string wasn’t snagged on anything and was perfectly straight. But I’ll bare that in mind for next time! Thanks for your constructive criticism! 🤣👌

@@ashleydavenport3794 Finished fascia wasn't straight at all, because your string line was touching raffters which can be uneven in size and level and that caused your line to move out of the straight😛

Good vid!!! Thanks. Does the facia need to be a certain measurement above the rafters?

It Varys from roof to roof/ pitch of roof etc. but let’s say the roof is like 30/35 degrees I’d probably aim for about 3” of kick. All depends on wall plate and face brick heights tho too. Cheers for your comment 👌👍

You don't say how much the top of the facia sticks above the top of the rafter for the tiles to lift up. ?

This was pre set really by the height of the face brick and how much the corbels were set out. Ideally you want around 50mm id say but depends on the pitch of the roof and things like that. Cheers your comment 💪

what sort of money do you get on sites fitting to this standard? You put a lot of faith in the brickies doing their job properly.

Hi mate, prices vary a lot from plot to plot and different spec (like ladder ends etc) but if your pretty quick you’ll earn good money! Yeah makes the job a lot easier following good brickies

It's freefoam. Their guttering sucks but the boards are the same as every other brand
