Look Halperin, all the pearl clutching and pep rallies are not important. The Louisiana Mummy got one thing right in his life, and it was stating the obvious about the economy. "Winning the news cycle" and celebrity endorsements are an anachronism.
Even with that, Trump "won" most of the news cycles last week. How quickly we forget the Garbage and Garbage truck. We do remember MSG last week (even if it feels like a year ago), no one remembers that Harris had her closing on the Elipse.
Everyone gets tired, even Donald Trump, working sixty days in a row. Anyone who can't understand that is also dumb enough to readily understand Kamala's word salads.
At this point his events need to be good for his base, not for ny times or msm. The idea he's going to lose 1 percent of the electorate due to haley voters switching last minute seems wishcasting. The election comes down to black turnout and blue collar white turnout.
No one who did not already know who they are supporting is watching any of these rallies at all so what difference do they really make. Anyone going to a rally is decided as well no matter what they tell an interviewer. Normal people don't go to or even watch these events only people like these guys talking here.
It seems like media, pollsters, and betting markets are looking for any tiny thing that can move the needle for Harris. I don't think "Controlling the information flow for the last week" will move the needle very much in voting unless there is some moderate scandal. The Hinchcliffe Puerto Ricans comments just aren't enough to move the needle. Also, Harris's events haven't become better or more joyful. The press is just blasting them more.
His energy and clarity of rhetoric is surely in decline as his campaign closes. It’s sad to see him revert to Trump 1.0 at the very end here. However; you are not factoring in his social media presence which is arguably reaching 100x more people. His latest campaign ad is lights out and is going bonkers on twitter. Probably his best he’s ever been part of.
I don’t want Kamala to win, but if she does, it was completely predictable. What a terrible candidate Trump has always been. He never ever seems to be able to hold it together. I’m switching to independent after this election. I’m so over the terrible undisciplined and unvetted candidates that republicans nominate.
Dan is smiling and optimistic, Sean is tense, strained, uncomfortable. Sean is smart. Sean knows rambling rants about staying in office after losing, threats, violence, conspiracies and bashing our country, its military and allies while praising dictators is not normal. I am voting Dem not because I agree with Harris but because my party has vanished. Trump is "constitutionally" unable to control himself! Even with the election on the line and aides begging to tone down the threats, violence and alienating he can't do it. I mean, what else does he have to do to prove his unfitness?
How brain dead is Trump? He does know the Republican legislature in PA would not even entertain the motion to count the mail in ballots beforehand? He does know this.
The fact that a bunch of big MAGA Republicans thought it was a good idea to dress up as garbage for Halloween after just calling Puerto Rico a "floating island of garbage"... Well, just remember that social media isn't real life.
I disagree. Trump is doing fine. You are listening to the network news not the people and social media
In this case he is literally listening to the rally
@@SquarelyGamesshow me an undecided voter who is either at a Trump rally or watching a livestream of it.
It doesn’t matter how he is doing. The Rig is too big to win.
Who in hell is undecided 24hrs out? Much ado about nothing.
More people then you think decides just before voting.
I don’t think this last week matters at all frankly at either end

The economy was the issue in 2022 and we still waiting for the mythical “Red Wave”.
@@mananimal3644 tomorrow my good man, you will see it tomorrow. Be ready.

Okay... he's quoting a New York Times article. Are you kidding me?
nah he was fine. You aren't head faking everyone this close out.
I disagree also. No one watches the media you are referring too. Few respect them. Few believe them.
KH 60 y/o has only one event last Saturday, the SNL while DJT 81 y/o have 3. I cannot blame the person 🤷♀️

I can't watch the negativity! That is for losers!

Optimism everywhere but turn out at the polls.

Yes, but at least they allowed a primary to happen.

Threats to who? If you mean the Republicans left you when they dropped war you’re right. The other side is your team now.
Both are obviously “unfit”. I voted based on policy.
That commercial was cringe

Finally you say something decent instead of trashing Harris.
