Haha yeahhhhhh the large house's basement is MASSIVE. It is so big I don't know what to do with it. But my old FC house use to be in a small and you can do a lot with one of those! 😁 Also thank youuuuuuu!
The housing situation really sucks, :( I really hope they give people more access to housing. I do intend on making an apartment specific video series in the near future since that is all many people have access to.
What song did you use for your video? I'm trying to find it since aaaaaages. And awesome video, I'm trying some floating and clipping myself and your video really helped getting a lot of ideas!
Awwww thank you so much for your kind words. I was still figuring out how to work the audio back then and I'm still learning how to make my videos better but I've tried in my more recent videos to make the audio and music less conflicting. Hopefully there has been improvement! :)
Hey! Just wondering, maybe I'm way wrong about glitches here but for floating the windows why not just use the clicky-wallmounted-float trick with a stage pannel or partition instead of 4 white rectangular partitions??
I don't see why that wouldn't work! I made this video a while ago when I was just starting out with learning housing and the glitches so some of these videos have outdated techniques and/or I just did not know better at the time, and I apologize for that. 😕 But if you find a better way to achieve your end results that's awesome! 😁 If I decide remake the skylight I'll definitely try that method instead and try to do an updated tutorial but at the moment my hands are full. 😭
well, thats what i tought too,but then realised,i need to hide the back of those windows,,, unless i wanted to cover the WHOLE second floor ceiling with the lofts....
trying to figure out what i'm doing wrong..once it gets to a certain height, the window stops moving up but i can still move the partition up..is there something i'm doing wrong?
Hmmm that sounds weird... So you are able to float them together until a certain height? Is the window sticking/snapping to the partition? However, If this method isn't working, another option is to use the stage panel to float the windows and other wall mounted objects. Try this method and see if that works better for you 🙂 ruclips.net/video/OyZtNfzgdIU/видео.html
@@indignationgaming5613 its a good chance that may have been what was happening, but the method you linked did work, so i managed to get a working skylight through that ^^
@@heatherbeck5035 Floating the rectangular partition is a pain and I had problems with it too! :( They have a VERY low floating height so you have to start it off small with the riviera shelf pretty much in the floor and go up by tiny increments. Thank you! My house is a large, but you can make this work for the basement of a small or medium (probably the upstairs of a medium too), unfortunately it would most likely take up the whole room though.
@@indignationgaming5613 Oh nice! I was trying it out in my FC apartment because I didn't want to tear up my small house just yet, didn't fit in there haha.
@@momoohno4414 Mmmm, maybe I will try making a smaller scale version suitable for apartments, that would be a fun project. 🤩 I haven't tried it yet on a small so please let me know if it ends up working out! I feel like there should be enough space in the basement. 🤔
Yep! Probably a whole lot less. This project was done in a mansion's basement. I feel like it is still manageable for a small to do it in the basement but on a much smaller scale. If you find that the wooden lofts take up too much space try substituting rugs to make false ceilings.
I’m attempting to do it. The only thing is I can’t use the windows your using for some reason I can’t place them it won’t let me. I opted for small windows and it takes a lot. I’m hoping I can get the same effect
Holy moly, that's incredible! Thanks for the tutorial!
You are very welcome! I'm glad it helped! 🙂
holy i just skipped in and was watching half asleep and suddendly u started talkin xD damn, im awake now GJ on that xD
I'm so sorry! 😭 I'm still learning how to make proper videos and work with the audio. I'll try to make sure my voice isn't too loud in the future. 😅
First I hear her voice, I was thinking someone stands behind me and talk in my ear I was shocked so hart xD
I appreciate you for posting everything :) 💚💚💚
You are so welcome
Dang lol your bookshelf room is about the size of my ground floor :< Nice work :D

That's pretty cool. lol Too bad I don't have a fancy house. I just have an apartment.

unbelievable idea!!!
Thank you! I need to make an updated version with the easier method. 😅
Indignation Gaming I copied it on my own apartment!! Thank you for the amazing idea!! It’s so beautiful!
Could I ask what kind of partitions are the wooden ones? I don't think I've seen them before, and the patterning on them is pretty.
You can always ask anything here! I try my best to help. But the partitions I use to enclose the room are The glade partitions :)
Amazing work
Thank you!

I love your videos and the music selection is very nice though the music at times drowns your voice out.

@@AetosofValla Good to hear! 😁
whenever i try to place the shelf and click out it just snaps back onto the floor :(
Hello Heather, sorry to hear you are having a problem. Are you talking about the riviera wall shelf used to float the white rectangular partitions?
Yesss I’ve tried it from all angles of the partition and as soon as I go to use the shelf to bump it up the partition just snaps back onto the floor

What music is playing? It's driving me crazy I can't remember it.
Valse di Fantastica from FFXV but I have the orchestrial roll from the cross over event.
For a smalll house, would you end up using less partitans?

How do you make the window shine in
Check your graphics settings and look under effects and make sure you have "glare" turned on.
whats the tree u put down? :o
The Doman Dogwood, you unlock it by helping to rebuild the Doma Enclave. 🙂
If its those in the middle you are talking about, it should be Potted Oliphaunt's Ear (green leaves) and the Doman Dogwood (pink)
