Had I known that I was going to do that, I'd have used beer or wine. lol sometimes it is pretty funny what I wind up with when I just let the camera roll.
I used the water level to build a sun porch. Refining your method. Use say a milk jug, you don't have to see the water level, fill about half full, for color, a little food die works. Take a blank yard stick size of wood and tape the end of the tubing to it. Set your jug so the water is slightly below your start point. Now go to the first leg, call it ZERO, and make a mark on the stick for water level and frame height. Now you can move around to the other legs. Hint, use a 1/4 dowel to plug the tubing in between use. Yea the water can run out. Recalibrate by going back to zero and change the water mark.
interesting. I am starting to think that I will need to make sure each individual frame is balanced port to starboard and may use the water level again
Thanks for including the spilling and then the sipping of the Gatorade. Great to see I'm not the only one that spills things. 🙂

I would use clamps on the legs until leveled then attach with screws.

@@JenkinsBoatWorks Get symmetry marks on the frames so you have a constant mark to compare the levels on port /starboard.
@@olivei2484 yes, I've already marked the sheer line from the Full Size drawings on both PT and STBD
used a water level when I install my 21' above ground pool, worked great.
I can see all kinds of applications!
We used a garden hose, dad put clear tubing on the ends. He was levelling his 44' boat he started to build.
it works amazingly well!
