All candidates should be asked if they follow American laws or their religious laws. Many Muslims establish their own judicial system that they follow outside of the American legal system. It's not a religious problem but is a very real legal problem when the laws of a religion are a priority over the laws of the country that they reside in. Verification of which law is the priority should be mandatory.

I'm an 80yo American, Veteran as well. I remember MN as a wonderful farming state made up of Scandinavian farmers and tradesmen. A wonderful place to visit for carefree fun and fishing, that's gone forever. Now it's like going to somalia.
