"Rep. Ilhan Omar (D.-Minn.) has drawn attention - and criticism - for her statements about Israel. Many people, including top lawmakers, have condemned Omar’s comments as anti-Semitic and called on her to apologize.
But she has also received messages of support from members of the Jewish community, who are critical of Israel’s policies and worry that the blowback against Omar will stifle debate.
Rebecca Vilkomerson, executive director of Jewish Voice for Peace, which advocates for Israel to pull out of the West Bank, wrote that critiques of Israel like Omar’s are essential:
“It has never been more important to be able to distinguish between the critique - even the harshest critique - of a state’s policies (Israel,) and discrimination against a people (Jews)," she said. “Israel does not represent all Jews. @deven deven Criticizing the US government for CIA meddling in foreign elections and sparking wars to cover deep state monetary ops is one thing...Advocating for "wiping Isreal off the map", meaning killing millions of innocent families by leaving them open to being bombed and cut off from resources and trade, is another. Also equating the country and people that took you in, accepted you, and gave you everything to Taliban and Hamas, while also advocating for the destruction of our founding documents that give her the rights to even say the things she does, wear and go wherever she wants, protest anything she wants, without even a threat of being imprisoned or STONED, is ANOTHER too. If you're gonna hate on America, make sure you're clear about who it is you're hating on. Government or the Citizenry that actually makes America? Most Americans never wanted any of the tragedies brought upon us and the world by corrupt individuals in government power across the globe. If you're gonna stand up for Ilhan by saying "we" have done terrible things, make sure you remember to ask her to ask Obama: What happened to the docs and all the weapons he gave the cartel in Fast and Furious and what exactly was Hillary hiding on her private server. Ask Hillary why Bill was so involved with Epstein. Also ask of Obama what became of the pallets of cash he flew over to Iran and how many innocents he droned with no remorse while he went around apologizing FOR US. And also while your at it, ask her to ask Biden how many innocent children died when he droned the man carrying water home but instead claimed it a "success" in retaliation for the bombers in Afghanistan. Ask him how many Americans and allies he left behind in Afghanistan, who are STILL THERE, and who is buying/using the billions of dollars of war machinery he knowingly knew would be used against us and others in the future. Ask Pelosi how just many American political prisoners she wanted and just how much exculpatory evidence is she hiding or destroying or how she came to be worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Ilhan NEVER asks or will ever ask these questions because she only wants to destroy America, just like her puppetmasters. Be careful who you stand up for..because it's your neighbors, the People, that make America. NOT corrupt politicians. Ilhan would never care about what happens to you or anyone in this country. That is her point.
On the other hand, the United States invaded Iraq under false pretenses, and more Iraqis have been killed than the soldiers the United States lost in the entire World War II. How do you talk about that conflict? Are you delicate and specific, or is it more like, "yeah, yeah, whatever."

@@jensonee the way in which she stated those words were as if she had no concern that people had died in those attacks and as if their deaths were meaningless to her.
@@bobbykent4643 there is no proof that Omar said anything supportive of the attacks on 9/11. absolutely none. there are a lot of lies, propaganda, BS that supports your beliefs but nothing real.
@@jensonee I didn’t say that she supported the attacks but the words she used and the manner she expressed them. Instead of saying someone did something she could have said someone did something that unfortunately caused many people to die and these people need to be brought to justice . But she chose to state what she did and without a sign of compassion for the families that lost their loved ones.
I believe with all my heart that our government had something to do with 9/11. Forgive me if I'm wrong. Such a sad day!

Not all Jews support Israel. Speaking out for Palestinian human rights and their yearning for freedom is in no way related to anti-Semitism, though the Israeli government does its best to obscure that.”"
Bet you support anti Muslim rhetoric as long as we are fair

Well said, Sir! Get her outta there! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Here here! 👏 👏 👏 Now voters need to do their job properly and boot her out of congress!
I must say that I appreciate the diplomatic diction of Forbes' title for this video. I would not have used the term "controversial." I would have used the term "contemptible."
It took this long for all of you to act to remove her
Now she's been removed because some people did something. P.s. I'm not sure how she actually got the right to run for any office

I was wondering how she got the votes to be elected to Congress myself.
Probably the same way any other US citizen would. How did she get the money?
Well, I heard that her district is heavily populated by people from her own country.
I live next door to the US, in a multicultural metropolis, and can tell you that partisan patronage has a lot to do with electoral success in our immigrant communities. Some people will vote for one of their own, regardless of ideology.

Good job!
The great thing is we no longer have to see that smirk as she says what ever she says.
The bigger part in her "Some people did something" was calling the death of 3,000 Americans, many jumping out of the windows to their death, as "Something" done to them.
She was referring to the event in general terms in the context of making a larger point, like people do all the time. This is such a stupid thing to be offended about.
And Omar knew exactly what she meant.
