My approach has been to focus on building and painting terrain and order tokens (3D printed), knights and titans first. Once all that is finished, I’ll be moving on to flyers and transports.
@@EagleSpireGaming I’m deliberately leaving the most ‘fun’ and useful stuff (the infantry and tanks) till the last. Eat your frog! This way, I don’t do enough to start playing games and then run out of steam, and be left with a grey mountain of shame (something I have done in the past with 40k). The only down side to my approach is that I can’t play with lovely, modern figures now.
@@davidwasilewski yeah, definitely pros and cons to both tactics. In the past I’ve painted enough to play small games, and then built up to larger games. This has been the first time since 3rd edition where I’ve built models before painting the previous build.
@@Luca__ good eye, great game. Shame they abandoned it. I sadly got into it at the very end. I’ll probably buy a few things I can find at the store and maybe I can occasionally play a game.
Luckily you are far away,if close by.better sell of those Legion Imperialis astartes infantry sprue...Coz I need 80 Plasma for my Alpha legion Harrow group Arcadus and 40 to 60 Terminators for my Iron warriors Proioxis Macro-Assault wing....😊

@@EagleSpireGaming i got lucky and bought into the game before they went and now im sitting on one model of each type without anyone else to play 🤣
@@Luca__ I’m glad I have kids, it gives me someone to play. I just need to wait for them to do their homework 😂
@@EagleSpireGaming amazing 😂
As someone who plays 40k admech, I feel for you.
@@somesubstitute4242 lots of models?
They essentially boil down to a dollar a point in game.
@@somesubstitute4242 ouch. That’s rough. I did what I could to keep my guard army cheap. Well, everything except use more expensive point units
@@EagleSpireGaming nice! I'm still 500 short of a 2000 pt army, but I'd love to have a game if we're ever in the same area.
