    Congratulations! I received my mrcs part a result 3 days ago and am planning to give my part b in October…found your part a advice good so came back to see if you had posted anything for part b…

    Congrats ,hey what were your pathology stations ,do you remember the tough questions in that station

      Hi - so I can’t say what the exact questions on the exam are (for obvious reasons). I think most of the pathology questions were reasonably straight forward and I could answer this based on revision using the PasstheMRCS and eMRCS resource. There were just a few rogue ones about microbiology / histology that I couldn’t answer and they clearly stuck with me but these were in the minority. In the grand scheme of things I don’t think time is well spent on revising specific histology appearances aside from mainstream stuff. You can afford to lose a few points if you know the more straight forward / common questions.

      Thank you! I’m going into vascular surgery ST1 from August
