It was considered disrespectful NOT to kiss them on the lips, though. My sister and I broke the tradition long ago. There are several photos of a young Steven where their resemblance is remarkable and uncanny. Even little things, like Steven gets a slight lazy eye when he's either tired or stoned and I've seen it in a couple pix of Liv as well. Some behavioral mannerisms like leaning their heads similarly in conversation. There is 1 fairly famous pic of Steven standing next to bassist Tom Hamilton whose holding a beer can. They are standing in front of a white closet. Steven is probably 26 in photo. Liv looks so much like him there. Also, when her half sister Mia was in her mid and later teens, Mia was thinner then. A few snaps Mia and Liv have such a strong resemblance to each other back then. Steven is about 5'9" Bebe looks about 5 9" also because next to her daughter she only looks around an inch shorter, so that's pretty tall for a woman. She could have gotten her height from her. I met someone from Europe we were all hanging out conversating about our parents when he said he French kisses his mother we all looked around the room at each other even his friends from Europe gasp before we fell out laughing after the shock had past we thought he was joking but he wasn't, he looked as if it was normal and common place. I'm a woman, 45, from the Bay Area. I was raised being kissed on the lips by my parents and grandparents, who also kissed each other on the lips. I remember not liking it, even as a younger kid. It was considered disrespectful NOT to kiss them on the lips, though. My sister and I broke the tradition long ago. We never kissed each other on the lips that I can recall, and don't kiss her daughter that way. I know my grandparents and parents never considered it sexual. I always thought it was uncomfortable - I don't know why me and not them, maybe it was cues I got from the society around me changing. If Todd was her Father for 10 years, loves Liv, supported her, has been there for her then, in my mind HE is the Father. Tyler donated some DNA, it appears her Mother has good genes. I recall a girl magazine (teen sassy I don’t recall) and she was talking about going to see Aerosmith and seeing Steven’s daughter Mia there and asking her mom if they had the same dad because she thought her and Mia looked alike, then it changed to her seeing Steven and thinking they looked alike but she also said in the interviews that she knew she had “Todd head” aka a head like Todd Rundgren. And I thought yeah, a head, a body, a mouth and eyes…meanwhile Steven Tyler has a rather wide square head with brown eyes that are close together, he also has a more tan/olive complexion. Bebe and Todd are both blue eyed and fair skinned. It just seemed like a big DUH. What are the odds a daughter will hit 5’10” with a dad who’s like 5’6” unless the mom is quite tall? Slim to none, but Todd is like six feet so that added up.
After her mom confesses the “truth” her career accelerated FAST. She shows up in the Aerosmith videos and then she’s an actress. The bridge was built, she was able to jump from print work to videos to movies. . And I always felt it was a big lie, and it was something done to give her a career. She’s not a very good actress, but she is very beautiful. All I ever did was look at old pictures of Todd Rundgren until this video came out, and I decided to look up old pictures of Steven Tyler. I always thought that he had a very broad head that his complexion was too dark that his eyes were brown and close together, and that there was no way that his features had anything in common with hers other than big lips which didn’t have the same shape and brown hair which is truly so common. I was convinced because her and Todd’s mouth are identical but then I stopped, looking at modern pictures of Steven Tyler and I went back to childhood photos and I thought holy shit they look identical. I have never ever seen a person and been totally Baffled about what the paternity is. She doesn’t look identical to Bebe (liv is much more interesting and stunning looking) but she does look like both Steven Tyler and Todd Rundgren when they were young. And neither Steven nor Todd look alike?!? But I did think okay, Bebe had a bit of a type, big lipped, kinda effeminate dudes with big brown hair. So while Todd and Steven do not look alike you could take old pictures of both of them, blend them with her mom and end up with Liv Tyler. I really wish someone would do a DNA test and share it even though it’s really none of our business. I just don’t know how you could be sure because you had an affair? I’m guessing she was still sleeping with Todd Rundgren when she had a fling with Steven Tyler and I suppose she could get it down to the timing but at the end of the day it’s kind of hard to know. And if you’re trying to make your daughter famous the name, Liv Tyler back in 1992 carried a lot more gravity than the name Liv Rundgren. Todd wasn’t doing stuff that landed him at the top spot on MTV. He wasn’t making music videos and it just doesn’t carry the same weight. What a nice favor for your ex lover, right? @@KateCarewI am pretty much obsessed with young Steven Tyler. I have seen thousands of pictures of him and watched many interviews of his. There are several photos of a young Steven where their resemblance is remarkable and uncanny. Even little things, like Steven gets a slight lazy eye when he's either tired or stoned and I've seen it in a couple pix of Liv as well. Some behavioral mannerisms like leaning their heads similarly in conversation. There is 1 fairly famous pic of Steven standing next to bassist Tom Hamilton whose holding a beer can. They are standing in front of a white closet. Steven is probably 26 in photo. Liv looks so much like him there. Also, when her half sister Mia was in her mid and later teens, Mia was thinner then. A few snaps Mia and Liv have such a strong resemblance to each other back then.
Steven is about 5'9" Bebe looks about 5 9" also because next to her daughter she only looks around an inch shorter, so that's pretty tall for a woman. She could have gotten her height from her. Bebe did say doing the math, she hadn't slept w Todd for a full month before she began sleeping w Tyler and went to Germany w Tyler. By the math, she knew it was Steven's and not Todd's even though she wanted baby to be Todd's. I could be wrong, but I could swear at 1 point I read a paternity test was done (right before he started paying child support and back support and becoming involved in Livs life) I agree Todd has a longer shape head and Liv sort of does also. But side pictures of Liv such as on Rolling Stone mag cover w Steven they both have that same slight jutting jaw. It's more pronounced in Steven but it really shows on her in that side profile pic on mag pics for that article. She is like the beautiful version of Steven. He's 18 years older than me but I have been obsessed w him since the 70s. When I was sick w covid I was bed bound and looked up old Aerosmith concerts and interviews and photos of young Steven and came across so much that I never did years ago. He looked a lot different young than he does now.

I think it can be a bit tragic for the kids, like Iman and David Bowie have a daughter, you'd expect her to be stunning but she looks very ordinary pretty. A lot of the models have children that do get paid to do some modeling but are in no way like their mothers.
Adopted kids of celebrities too, like with Brad Pit and Angeline Jolie, the genetic kid they have looks extraordinary, but as the other kids are adopted they will probably have some therapy about that.

I remember years ago when I was working as a PCA in a NY hospital. His exwife (Liv's and Mia's mom) was hospitalized for a brain tumor. She was a very nice lady. I recall him sending like 100 pairs of shoes to the hospital for her. She disclosed at the time that he did it because he was in a 12 step program and that was one way of him apologizing for hurting her.
We also took care of one of Bob Marley exes back then too.
That was Mia's Mom, Cyrinda. She ultimately passed from that brain tumor when she was only 52 in the early 2000s. But Liv has a different mother. Her mom is Bebe.

Creative direction is a bullshit way to describe child pornography. My family kisses lips, but only rarely and only for some family members. There's no lingering. There's o staring and cuddling. It's a quick peck, a hug and move on.
