There’s a much easier way of doing this exact thing. Just restart the car three times in a row (turn car off and start it 3x) and it will produce the same results. This is temporary though, not a permanent fix if there’s actually something wrong with the hybrid.

In this method just reset the computer and erase the code.
If it keeps coming within one month it needs to diagnose a hybrid system from a technician

@@Lets-Fix-It Thanks for the quick reply!! There's a little more to the story here. I did the unplug of the negative post on the small battery and then unplugged the orange plug
on the large batteries. All the lights come back on and the green start button comes on, but the engine will not start. Nothing happens at all, just the dash lights remaining on.
I put my foot on the brake it the dash tells me to push the park button and I do all that, but still nothing happens. Tried it a dozen times tonight. Any other suggestions?

Looks like you have not connected the orange plug correctly.
Orange plug has a signal cable connection
So first push in the plug
Then push down the plug handle to connect the signal cable
Hope will work

Do you really think you fixed the issue, you re just reset the computer and the memory. The lights will come back on soon

If it keeps happening need to diagnose hybrid battery cells or hybrid systems.
This will fix any connection issues with the fuse and reset computer for memory. 👍👍
