    Can you imagine doing a whole garden with the tiny hand tiller? Dear Lord! Lol…we’ve got a huge ass Toro. It’s 30+ years old and still works perfectly!

    • @kidskona3287
      @kidskona3287 2 года назад

      Absolutely correct. It's too tiny that it would take you a whole year to finish you garden. How funny and dumb people think it's useful when it is of no use at all or it is useless. Just for the sake of money in everything.

    5:44 Not sure it's a scarifier. It's designed to de thatch the lawn. It gets rid of all the loose lawn clippings that ends up in the grass when you mow your lawn without catching the grass. Allows air and nutrients to reach your soil base and feed your lawn. Reducing thatch also prevents waterlogged roots and allows proper drainage, helping reduce the risk of fungal infection.

    10:30 Absolute no on that Ryobi lopper. Tried the even longer one and it was awkward as hell and jammed on some branches. Had me going to the garage to get the simple pull lopper, so much lighter, and easier and longer. Plus the mouth on the pull handled much bigger branches. And the price is ridiculous. Took the Ryobi back. I do have many Ryobi items.

    Dandelions are NOT a weed. They are a herb with many medicinal and healthy benefits from the flowers, leaves, and roots. A rose bush is more of a weed than beneficial dandelions.

    • @Micah__
      @Micah__ Год назад +2

      weed
      noun
      : a plant that is not valued where it is growing and is usually of vigorous growth.
      Or
      : a wild plant growing where it is not wanted and in competition with cultivated plants.
      But hey, if YOU like dandelions, more power to ya Timmy!

  • @denisdufresne5338
    @denisdufresne5338 5 месяцев назад

    -Rake: Unfortunately plastic is not environmental friendly and not durable. So it is a waste of money.
    -Mixer: cover crops do a way better job than that electrical mixer that will have to be put in the garbage in a few years
    -Hydro mouse: only for lazy gardener that does not care to waste his money
    -Robot: it makes your garden grass highly expensive. By the way, a nice lawn space does not exist in nature so why do we want to waste time to get a nice lawn that nature wants to modify to something more natural?
    -Log Splitter: A good ax requires less energy and will last more than 50 years while you will probably replace the log splitter after just a few years
    -Weeding trowel: Adventices are a good indicator of you soil so instead of trying to remove all of them just try to transform your space as the nature wants it. The main problem is that trying to keep a nice lawn is simply struggling against nature which tries to transform the space in a productive vegetation space.
    - Top keeper: what a waist of money
    -Slanghaspel: Interesting tool for a small garden. To be tested.
    - Seeder: This is a real useful tool for a market gardener
    -Paddle: seems interesting for only specific job. To be tested.
    -Plough: This tool destroy the habitats of microorganisms in the soil which are responsible for the soil fertility. So it is a bad tool for any growers.
    -Pruner: to be tested. I prefer a manual pruner easier to be repaired and will last longer
    -Rioby: for small holes only
    -Sharpener: interesting. To be tested.

    Who wants lawns? Grow food, not lawns! And also don´t dig / till. Make gardenbeds of compost only on top of the existing soil with a sheet of cardboard in between, seperate the beds with woodchips, plant densely and you will hardly have any weeds at all, nor pests, and get the max out of your beds, especially when you pre-seed on trays and plant the seedling out once strong enough. That way you can grow the real max of produce per bed with little work.
