Last year it was so exciting to see Käärijä getting 376 points and this year as well I was so happy when Baby Lasagna received his points but with these systems we wouldn't have enjoyed these moments at all because the winners would have already been standing at the top with a colossal number of points and we would have been stressed out whether the televote winner could have surpassed that

I think for example for Silvester from Lithuania it would have felt more exiting for him to see that he got in top ten of televote instead of just hearing a two digit number while still many countries to come

I mean, After the 323 pts from Israel We would so have known that Croatia got at least 323 and so, they were sure to have at least 533 pts so, it's not that far away from the 591 pts of Switzerland so, appart if you were calculating and so, you Already knew it was impossible to beat it but, without it, it was still possible for Croatia to overtaking it but, having 3 countries with more than 300, it was sure it didn't get the 381 pts it needed lol

So, Italy would have 267 instead of 268, France and Ukraine would have the same amount of points 443 instead of 445 and 453, but still the same positions. Greece would have 123 points, Luxembourg 99, Armenia 178, Switzerland 585, Ireland 271, Croatia 539 and Israel 363. All countries would stay in the same positions but with less amount of points.

True, there was no Rest of the World vote before 2023. However, if they'd decided to announce the 2024 public vote results from the lowest placed public score to the highest placed public score, they'd have still had the Rest of the World vote this year, so the finalist public vote totals would have been exactly the same as were announced on the night; just a different order.
nah the song was incredibly mid im sorry. nothing bad to say about it but it doesnt stand out in any way. the only reason the public vote was so high is because of the completely insane marketing campaign it had, including but not limited to nyc billboards and embassies calling up their citizens to vote, as well as it being promoted as an epic way to own the libs among the general public
The song is literally the most boring shit for 2 minutes and at the last minute Eden tries to catch our attention by showing off her voice... ofc she's got a good voice but if the song is bad then I'm sorry but u can't expect anything better.
