I'm impressed with how little rust she has! Then again, the dry air probably helps eat the rubber a little faster, so you win some you lose some..
0-60 in 16 seconds is not bad with a leaky exhaust :D
Appreciate your videos man, it's always a pleasure to watch them c:

Rear sway bar! Wonderful thing. Brake hoses, hope you don't have to do the four lines to the calipers...PIA!

Im interested in what your neighbours say when you arrive with another new bought Volvo on the streets riding up to your house, also, how much do they complain when you're doing noisy things just like driving that leaking exhaust? Haha, always looking forward to see your videos, really entertaining and I love your humor :)

Also.. I watched a video yesterday and heard they say that swaybars in the front or rear, are more weak on the wagons then the sedans, and that the ones from sedans fitted bolt-on the wagons, maybe check it out if it's true instead of buying a new IPD one :)

Hey david, not sure if you've ever explained why, but will you ever consider a 740/940 restoration? Im trying to restore one now and I'd love some tips and such in your format

Uuuh, I like this video a lot. Mainly because you do this kind of rolling restoration with used parts if possible and show DIY.
Although yours is definitely not my kind of way to lengthen a hood = your footwork seemed to work. If I would have done it, the hood probably would have been concaved very much. ;-)
By the way: Neither English nor American English is my native language. Maybe your hoodwork/footwork is what's called a walkthrough? ;-) ;-)
    2) Uuuh, I heard that the tuning Abarth muffler is still at work. Although this "special version" seems to cost power instead of giving some more!?
    3) I'm a 190 cm guy with wide shoulders. Nevertheless I like to sit as high as possible in a car because it is much easier to enter and to get out. You will recognize this when getting older... and/or having a bad back... Sigh. ;-)
The mentioned "boaty' feeling is maybe because the seats are a bit worn out!? And maybe you have this boaty feeling even more because you have to row with the worn out shifter and the muffler sounds like a boat outboarder? ;-)
    4) Yes, absolutely right, Sir. Brakes are the most important thing in/on a car. I had to agree totally and was happy to hear that the brakes doing very well. Afterwards you showed the rotten break hoses and I thought immediately: What a pity, the one thing that seems to function good is shortly before "breaking" down. But every medal has two sides = bad for you, good for us viewers = more videos. ;-)
    5) I'm eagerly looking forward to watch more (and longer?) vids.
Thanks a lot for making taping editing uploading and sharing.
    Best regards and good luck.
Postscriptum: Maybe filing the hood latches screw holes a bit more lengthwise will help. It's a common thing to do. Afterwards you have to tighten the screws very much respectively very secure.

I drive a 240 and i dont think they are super slow. Of course not as fast as any sportscar. but it gets around. I was once late to work and got the 43 year old car up to 160km/h(99miles) and it still had some more to give. but i was to scared since it was all over the road :D. You should probably replace your shocks and springs. I did that on mine and it turned out quite good. However my old volvo145 is a literal boat on the road sometimes. Its a part of the volvo experience :D

Fine business on the DeWalt 20V max. You can get an adapter to run the old tool with the new li-on battery.

Gas for $2.06 a gallon - how nice! Here in Los Angeles it's at least a dollar more a gallon. Slowly but surely, one step at a time, you'll get all the bugs worked out and you'll have a great running car. But first, replace those rotten brake hoses. They're downright dangerous. Good luck.
    Regards, Tom

£1.25 a litre here in good old England. 3.785 liters in a US gallon = £4.73 a Gallon.
Which = $6.16 USD per Gallon.

Actually the 240 can go 88 mph , when the Delorean is the one that actually can't.
