So question, i have the new snap in wire boxes, What would happen if i wire it 1 2 3 insead of 3 2 1? Is each hole designed for only a certain ammount of current on the switch or do you think it would work just backwards number wise meaning on 1 would speed 3.. Hypothetically of course. I think it would work just be backwards.
It would just be labeled backwards. Each circuit has different a different number of turns of wire going to the motor thus the resisitance readings shown, the switch is just a selector and since this one has a capacitor to jump start the blades it shouldn't matter, but an older fan or motor might not start reliably unless it's turned to the highest setting first or spun up by hand.
Knowledge and explanation skills . Bravo
have really liked your explanation...not like other fools who explain speedy without even picking anything.....so much good am already subscribed
This is the best video so far not like others
This looks like in da philippines
Awesome explanation, if I wanted to slow the speed of all the gears, how would I do that? Different capacitor or different switch?
Nice

My fan doesn't have any blue wires.its the same motor
