Sounds like an old TV with the quadrature coil out of adjustment. Video noise getting into the sound.....

The situation with that poor old Mrs. Sullivan filled me with rage. I hope she had a better life after her move and found some peace of mind.

I am a PROJECT PUERTORICAN and it breaks my heart to see what they were doing to that poor old lady. If I was there back in the day me and my posse would have dealt street justice on those punks who were also Puertoricans and Blacks. Miss Sullivan would have been protected free of charge. That's some really messed up stuff. I feel really sad because of it.

The reporter is Bill Moyers. He has his own website now. Most reporters for CBS News tended to sound alike; from the days of Edward R. Murrow.

I grew up in that era and in the South Bronx. Times were really bad then; and they're coming back again.

At 3:04 those guys in the frame were there just to mess with that poor woman. Mocking her as she spoke. Snickering as she told her story. Gee, i wonder if they knew who were the morons who were responsible for her demise!!!

I remember back then, I lived in Brooklyn, that was a borough in the city you did not go to, unless it was a no good reason, I remember seeing all those vacant buildings, and the West Bronx was like that too, highest crime area, your lucky if you walked out alive

Mrs. Sullivan's experience is terrible and it happened to many people and that is why they wanted to move. Some people try to label it something else BUT really, it is because of these experiences just like Mrs. Sullivan had and worse. Its 2023 and similar things are happening again the only differenceis now crimes are not prosecuted as they were back then. Sadly it seems the people who make excuses and take a stance that police should be defunded will cause harm that hurts these very neighborhoods and people they allegedly want to help. Its 2023 and things are getting worse especially now our tax dollars (what are left after so many moved from the state) are going to services for individuals that came through the borders. Services for our vulnerable populations veterans, neighborhoods and youth are being cut. Definition of insanity.... as they say.

Which neighborhood is that? What has changed is that radical revolutionary mentality that was common in the Bronx back in the day. Those PEOPLE POLIITICAL PARTIES are gone. Those blocks upon blocks of abandoned bldgs are also gone. People throwing junk at the firemen and cops from rooftops. That's also gone. It is much tamer today. The laws are tougher. I remember as a kid that the gangs used to hang out in the corner. That's against the law today. So it is much tamer today. What do you think?

Not in 2023 its back and now criminals are not prosecuted like they once were. History repeats itself when the same inputs are used.
