Great ads! Everyone who lived in the UK in the 80s remembers ads like "Oi! Scream For Cream!" and "Any Way You Please It, Cheese It"! They knew how to make them catchy and memorable in those days!
This ad went out Christmas 1987 and into 1988. This is a great little jingle composed and sung by the late Ronnie Bond who did loads of great jingles for commercials including: Do It All, Bran Flakes (Tasty Tasty Very Very Tasty) and Cocopops.
Any time anybody says Oi I always think of this advert thanks to being bombarded with it in the 80s :-P I'm in the U.S. now and they don't know what I'm talking about. But I'd have to be with people my age to know that in the UK as well :-D
This brings back memories, I have a very old VHS somewhere of snooker and a couple of episodes of Countdown (two of my favourite programmes as a child), and a shortened version of this advert appeared during one of the Countdown episodes!
