Is the G train r68s or r160s now? I haven’t seen a G train in years

All R160s,the G stopped using the R46,R68/As in October 2021 due to CBTC installation on crosstown

@@transitenthusiastangelNope. The G started using R160s in order to put the remaining 5-car R160s at Jamaica Yard for easier maintenance after Queens Blvd CBTC. Crosstown CBTC began last year, but the move was done 2 years before.

Good question,sometimes there’s congestion because of the interlocking at Bergen St which holds trains and sometimes they are late and send them express after Smith 9th
