Feel like you missed a breakdown? Don't worry, we're skipping ahead to catch up but episode 4, 5, and 6 breakdowns are being edited! I just want to make sure we're caught up!
im going to make incomprehensible noises at random people.
Did you notice that in this episode they just left baby Finn in the vampire world when they left? Like who’s gonna take care of him when everyone’s dead!?
@@Car_made_of_cheese peppermint butler. (the tank)
Love to see ep 6
That seems pretty fuckin dumb lol. Yeah let's go backwards instead of just start from 1. Imma just start watching one piece from wano so I can catch up. Y'all just wanna get your views in and then post the older episodes cause they won't get views nearly as much quit trying to play like you wanna catch up
I think the most interesting part of the episode to me personally, was the insinuation that each Vamp close to the King have real names. Since Marceline still kept her own name that just not many knew on top of her title as The Star, given Bonnie's reaction to Simon calling out her name.
I feel like one of them was Jeff. I don't know if it was Heirophant or Fool or even the Moon, but the potential for at least one jeff is strong
I couldn't help but notice Marcy had most of the powers she would inherit from killing the other high vampires. Leading me to believe she killed them for their power or maybe in a sick battle for top advisor to the king? But they're clearly not around for a reason.
Maybe the vampire king fed her the other vampires
It was confirmed by wolflard that that the others died in that universe long ago. And considering Marceline still has there powers more than likely she killed them to take their abilities and the Vampire King permitted it since he favored her more than them anyway.
Did she? all I noticed was flight which all vampires seemed to have
Upon further inspection, she might have shapeshifting as well but the few scenes that we get with any sort of Shapeshifting looks a little different than the Shapeshifting she would usually use so idk we definitely don’t see her ever turn invisible or heal tho and we don’t see her suck vampire souls when she poofs two of them in her room. So I’m going to say she probably didn’t.
Probably to save time, having 4 other vampires around wouldnt work in 1 episode lol
I think it is hinted in the “Bonnie and Neddy” episode of Adventure Time that PB learned to speak German because one of the first books she found in the wasteland as a kid was a German dictionary.
Simon is the catalyst of the events, he doesn't find the crown - Vamp world, he finds the crown and saves the world by stopping the nuke - Farm world, In the main timeline he saves everyone and Betty gets sacrificed in the process.
Now I'm curious if Simon aged naturally what would the au be like? (Since he'd die) (I'd say maybe Marcy would have a more mentally healthy life)
I thought it was implied that Simon DID find the crown, but not Marcy - which removed his incentive (protecting her) to use the crown and become adept with it - leaving him vulnerable to the VK who simply had his minions take Simon down and the VK took the crown from him (or his corpse.)
The fact we see a good Martin and he dies on screen is depressing. Breaking down this arcana reversed mean hopeless, despair, lack of faith lack of freedom, lack of creativity. This greatly applies to the situation at hand when Fiona and cake leave where things are much more hopeless then they were when they arrive. Martin is dead, PB is brawling with Marcy as she falls down to her presumable death. On the vampires side their food is running out and soon they will turn on each other before turning the land into another lifeless wasteland. Truely fits the reverse arcana of the star.
Don’t forget baby Finn getting left behind
@@2-bit567 Perhaps baby finn represents the star, maybe they need to have faith in him he had the freedom to leave his world and help set right the vampire world.
@@2-bit567 Knowing how badass Peppermint Butler is, he'd definitely would raise Finn to be just as capable. We'd already seen baby Finn being a born fighter, he'd probably be the next vamp killer as he grows up 👀
@@T_E_G :)
and the lich gets depressed before he even appears
For a guy in love with a chaos deity, Simon sure is the backbone of many timelines. Even moreso than Finn it looks like Simon's main function is to dictate the order of the world for better and worse. Maybe it's by design.
To think that if simon didnt get trauma, the world of ooo whouldnt be the same is sad, i just want him to be happy
The tarot for the star also has another meaning when it’s reversed/upside-down; which means lack of faith, despair, self-trust, and disconnection. I think this translates better for vamp-world Marci since you can argue she’s the opposite of original Marci. Without her help the world became a waist land devoid of an prosperous future, she only looks out for herself, and lacks any form of empathy creating a rift between her and PB. It’s also telling that this Marci is a total daddy’s girl by how many times she addresses Vamp King as “Dad” with great admiration, compared to the original where she calls Hundson Abideer dad with begrudging obligation.
For sure I fully belive the "where is my mom" was young Marcy after her mom was gone
Interesting theory that I've heard is that Simon is a comet reincarnation. Not to say that he is the previous incarnate of Finn or the Lich but a third comet. It could explain why in most universes, Simon has a bigger impact it each universe more than most other characters.
Every universe has its own simon, nice
Don’t forget that Tarot card can be upside down, having a different meaning to their right side counterparts.
If the upright Star symbolizes hope, following our goals and living in harmony with what we want, the reverse Star is the opposite. Falling to your doom. Feeling stuck with what you do.
And that stick to me because We last see Bonnie and the Star in a reversed position, cutting to a Gary and Mashall in an upright position.
Idk throwing my two cents
Edit: I’ll also add that the Star is the second highest arcana counting from the Sun (so not counting The World and The Judgement),only surpassed by the Moon
Fuckkkkk that’s cool, I am sadly not a tarot girlie so I totally didn’t even think about that!!! Ahhhh I love this analysis!!!
i feel like this episode reflects how marceline was initially meant to be a villan at the start of the series, i feel like this universe explores if she stayed that way
Except even in her first appearance she was an insensitive prankster and loved busting FINN AND JAKE’s chops, but she wasn’t presented as an actual villain, just scary (and finding that funny, at least on the surface.) “Oh Marceline, why are you so mean?” “I’m not mean, I’m a Thousand years old and I’ve kinda lost track of my moral code.”
I think Baby Finn has a bear hat because he came from a wish universe and his hat is part of his character. Shouldn't Lich be Sweet P given that he is a literal baby?
maybe the wish was made before he became sweet P?
I thought he was Sweet P, just wearing Lich pajamas. Though maybe my eyes just suck a lot.
I think the implication since Sweet P first appeared is that while lingering bits of the lich may lurk in his subconscious, his “remaking” created an entirely new person. With the uncertainty of this creating tension for a long time.
Man this ep was real depressing and man poor babyworld finn he's alone in the vampire world...hope we see him again before the end, also rip Martin and Huntress! But Marcilene new vamp garb does look good yet evil too.
This episode wasn’t just only a Toxic Yuri and Wholesome Yaoi. But also… SUPERBLY INTENSELY DARK AS boingloings. Like, really really dark. This is *NOT* the Marceline we’ve come to love.
And it’s further proof of how important Simon is in the main timeline.
BOINGLIONGS! man, i haven't heard that word in a LONG time!
What the hell are you even saying
@@chrisnik1536Someone got hit in the boingloings
i want you to very speak again. idk why’d you type that out and send it.
Its crazy to see that the silly ice king villain in the early episodes is actually the key to the main timeline.
The farmland, simon died before meeting marcy.
The star, marcy turned evil.
Winter king, meet marcy but she died, he use pb.
It make sense! Too bad we cant see more since its ending soon 😢
I know fionna and cakes universe was something ice king thought up... but you could argue it was the universe where simon let betty go. Which would imply the mushroom war was likely caused by the news of simon and bettys adventures and the powerful relics they found.
I didn't even realize Simon got his hands bit too, dude wasn't taken by surprise and actually put up a block. Poor guy went down fully conscious most likely of what was happening.
Also helps explain why, assuming he had it, he didn’t get a chance to put the crown on and defend himself before they got him.
14:21 hannah k is a story board artist for adventure time, what likely happened is she just did that drawing for fun and when she boarded that sequence of them fighting, she took inspiration from her previous drawing
I know that Marceline is named The Star in this universe but I think that the direct meaning of the card applies more to both Gary and Bonnibel in this episode. Bonnibel has the courage and faith to make change and feels as though there is a brighter future if she can make them happen (upright). While Gary is faced with opportunities that would have otherwise made him excited, now make him want to abandon it all for his new friend Marshall (reversed).
Hope baby Finn would be okay maybe this universe needed him to save the world
I think he's probably fine, seems unlikely they'd put him marching down the street in vampire world in the intro with completely normal Fionna in her magicless world and main from our perspective universe Finn in the heart of the forest if he wasn't intended to be important to that world.
I lost my mind so hard when I saw norm Carroll. She was my favorite minor character and I so never expected to see her again in any form.
i appreciate the effort you all put into the videos, most creators try to get their videos out *the day after*, and tend to miss things or get things wrong. thank you for putting in the extra effort!
We really really appreciate you saying that 😭 thank you so much, we’re so happy you like our videos!!!!
my personal headcanon is that jake was playing a game with baby finn using toys and finns bear where finn "slays" an evil bear(his bear) and from then on turned it into his hat
🥺🥺🥺 that would be so cute omg I love it
Excellent finds! Also, I swear you could do an amazing Fionna impression
Thanks for this. As an old guy who loves AT so very much, I’m delighted to see these little details I missed in my multiple watching of each episode.
Simon is becoming so important to the survival of ooo, people are starting to theorize if he to is a catalyst comet maybe the yellow one.
Just what I needed today! So happy we got an early update!!
The soul sucking isnt Vk stuff. Ot comes from her bio dad Hudson
i find it funny that you sound like fionna narrating the story
Heya, saw somewhere that one of those "pens" is actually a "scientific parasite". Creatures that are often seen in the pockets of scientists and other smart people in Adventure Time.
I normally don't like these kinds of Videos but you spoken so clear and constantly That it made it enjoyable. Thank you!
Yay so glad you liked it! Thanks for giving it a chance!!!
when i realized the vampire castle was made out of bones i winced abit knowing they purposely molded bones for their domain from the people they killed.
my biggest question is why Huntress isn't a wizard, and why she has red hair. did she always have red hair? one of finn's children in farmworld looks a lot like her, and he has red hair. i guess she just covers it with leaves but WHY ISNT SHE A WIZARD...
Wizard society wasn’t able to proliferate when all of the world was a wreckage and decay, and the reason bubblegum is still, well you know, gum is because the four elements of fire, ice, candy, and slime will always find a host and the mother-gum was still a thing in the just-after-mushroom-bomb phase
Magic was never allowed to prosper in the dying world
Chances are either the wizard wizards have humans as an ancestor causing huntress to end up as a human or huntress ended up as a human because that was the only option
I mean, it's not farfetched for Finn's hat as a baby to be the teddy bear and then for him to get a new hat via evil bear when he got older.
Seeing Martin in this world without head trauma, yeah thats totally the father of Finn the Human
the spooktacular outfits were a deep dive
I think thematically this one was my favorite so far
I feel like Finn kinda remembered his hat being related to the remains of some bear , and when he told it to Jake he probably assumed Finn or Finn's original parents skinned a bear for a hat since he didn't know how civilized humanity was compared to creatures of OOO .
You say before the humans souls were sucked by the vampires but you forget only marceline can suck souls not all vampires or even the vampire king as marceline got her soul sucking abilities from her dad and her half demon side
For a second I thought Fionna was narrating the video :p
Regular peppermint butler probably wouldve been more useful than the tank :(
Yeah but with PB never being able to make the candy kingdom and magic never being allowed to prosper, Pepbut simply couldn’t exist
Headcanon real names of the vampire king’s court...
Hierophant: Walter
The empress: Veronique
The fool: Eustace
The moon: Selene
Vampire king: Leonidas
Hm, don’t mean to be mean but I think some of those are just a little too “on the nose.”
One question I ask is what happened to the Oozers after the vampires rose to power? The vampires seemingly can use necromancy and rise skeletons, perhaps the Oozers joined with the vampires, or are a third independent faction from the vampires. Potentially they could still be a part of the Lich’s undead army as the Lich likely wasn’t sealed in this universe and was likely left to his own devices, likely ruling from the area where his well is.
19:24 I guess having a house dominated by glasswork lends itself to having indoor vegetation... all of them arranged under the stairs for the party!
Loving your videos! Also your voice really sounds like Fionna to me, you could totally do a fan dub and I’d find it hard to tell the difference!
you have the perfect voice for an adventure time character
🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭 wow what a cool compliment, thank you!!!
I think the vampire King is also inspired by The Chariot as well as the Wheel of Fortune
14:43 the 30 rock reference would make sense since Donald Glover wrote and acted on it
6:27 i think it's fair to say Martin didn't entirely forget being Finn's dad in the original universe, it's rather a matter of him always running away from his problems and mistakes. He probably just can't or doesn't want to be around a constant reminder of how he threw his life with Minerva away, that's why any time Finn comes around, Marvin takes off (literally, that one time)
Love it!
That first little nub in Simon's pocket is not a pen, it's a scientific parasite.
I don’t think anyone else said this but I’m pretty sure the bubbaline drawing by Hanna K is a reference to the season 1 finale from Killing Eve
Oh cool!!! I had no idea! That’s rad
13:02 no no no, Jake is powerful, don't get me wrong, BUT the reason why Jake didn't get insane was because the insanity is giving to the original owner + ice powers, if the original owner dies, the next to use the crown will receive the powers and insanity. However, if the original owner is still alive, the next to use the crown will only recth powers (and yes fionna fucked Simon by not letting cake steal vk's crown, if she did this, he would have ice powers and not go insane).
Vk is either too powerful or already too crazy, or both, that the crown didn't do anything do him.
I don't know if this was the intention of the line, but when Vamp World PB says "how could you bring a child into this world"...I don't know if I was the only one, but my mind immediately went to hear thinking baby world finn was fionna's kid
I don't Think she Knew that They came From another World at That point,
So I'm Pretty Sure that's Exactly what She thought
The battery wasnt dying it can still do jumps, it was the magic crystal that was being drained which is needed to find worlds that still have a functional crown.
Bear toy got possessed by magic/demon, subsequently iced, then made into a hat.
We see that things like the weather is changed by what's going on around Simon (it snows while he's with Winter King, for example) so it's entirely possible there's a blood drive _because_ of the Vampires
And billy not only dead but if you look close you can see multiple vampire bites all over his body he got bite and sucked head to toe so we can assume it took multiple vampires to take down Billy all biting and draining him at once over powering him which if you think about that's a horrific death multiple vampires holding you down and biting and draining you from everywhere and we can assume,e it took so many vampires draining him at once because of his size and power as Billy was a giant hero and because of that in this wo4ld he had a very very slow painful horrific death
when i saw tiny mantocore as a human the first thing i thought was that she's a slave to magic man in fionna's world
14:04 your girl was down bad when she drew that
You didn't have to do that. You didn't have to skip ahead to be on the pace with us
Love your review❤
I think baby fin killed his teddy bear and made his hat🧸🤠
Gary's suit might be based on Viktor's suit from Yuri on Ice!!
16:53 omg the worm 🔥
at 16:52 i am pretty sure that this guy is the old sassy man from the episode the TV, these are a race of candy people who have a similar tone of hair color but as a massive brown thing of hair instead of a goatee and is more of a deadringer than the fluffy people
I am really curious to know what happened to the Meteorite of the Vampire World
It clearly never became Finn but what happened to it? Was it Killed/Soul Eaten by Marceline? Did It become Something Else (like a Vampire) Or did it leave the Planet (as it wasn't worth to live on it after the Vampire take over)?
I thought PB could heal her leg with science? Unless this PB isn’t as smart as the OG timeline
Science (or in this case medicine specifically) requires resources in the form of chemicals, herbs, minerals, etc., and the lab facilities to make them work.
Is just me or Gary's suit reminds you of Victor's skating costume from Yuri on ice 🤨
You missed in the beginning the vampire king kills Simon and takes the crown
I think the vampire king allowed his court to fight Marceline as she got older to give her powers, and prove her worth to him.
I thought the tall woman with black hair and the short man was a reference to blargatha and her "husband"
The crown didn’t take over Jake because he was powerful. He didn’t take them over because the ice king was using the crown.
Looks like billy was also bitten by vampires
Homestuck fans seeing PB's and Marcy's relationship in the vampire world
If Fiona touched the vampire king, would she have turned him into a normal lion just like his version from the main universe?
Probably just a house cat tbh.
Like how she turned the combat knife into a butterknife.
He would turn in what ever is his equivalent on her world
When I was younger I thought that Finn’s hat was a pillow case that he cut in half and wore. Then when Susan was introduced I realized it was supposed to be a bear I just chopped it up to Finn wearing a pillow case what looks like a bear hat
Er, the expression is “chalked it up.” As if making a note on a chalk board.
What I want to know about adventure time is where did the vampires come from? Why were they not around before the war, but then all of the sudden you have the vampire king and all the vampires everywhere and everything?
Also, when I first watched this episode, I at first thought that the blood drive from Mrs. Abadeer’s building was to give the place some redness for a real nightosphere esque vibe, but then I realized that it all was because Simon was in vampire world.
Wish you where doing full reviews instead of just these Easter Egg things, but whatever. I can't wait for Episode 5
The guy who is a high power attorney talking to Gary is a guy selling chips during the EP chips and ice cream.
Oh awesome!!!! I gotta go back and watch that ep, totally missed that! So cool, thanks for pointing it out!!!!
Funny thing is if Scarb did try to cut them off at the pass and go after the crown he'd probably be killed by the VK
I want to point out something scary:
*Scarab has been holding back.*
lol he can incapacitate Prismo and is used as a multidimensional enforcer by Prismo’s BOSS and you think the VK would take him out easily? He’s already recaptured a number of the Cosmic criminals from the Citadel! VK Tamigotchi is the best the VK could hope for.
Best episode, no disscussion, ok I am biased af, but absolutely loved Red Star's outfits, the character designers had a blast with this episode! for real!! 3:40 Allright without overthinking it, that AT writer was obviously referencing how Germans were the devils in world war 2 and how everyone thinks they were the villains in the whole conflict, so yeah German is the language of DEMONS.
Hm, interesting Episode, i wonder what the status of The Lich was in this Universe?
15:26 Could BN had ever met or at least heard of Coconteppi🤔🤔
"Have you seen my mom?"
Change mom to dad then boom steven universe
2:32 decaying billy
Man, I can't believe a show actually pulled off the multiverse in an amazing and cool way..
*Cough cough Loki*
What if the teddy bear was made of a evil bear and then trend into a hat
I thought The 'Publicist' was based on Roselinen, Finns pillow wife. It's the lips.
Man Fionna and Cake drama and Marshall Lee Mom us more worse then Hudson, but so many human Ooo cameos!!
i cant find anything outright confirming my biases but im pretty sure the vampire hive is meant to be ref'd/inspired by termite cathedrals? which goes in line with vampires being a pest and some transition shots between the hive and the blood drive at the church
Ok but i like the idea that finn will beocme the vampires world hero,
Ricardio was ice kings heart
Simon was the ice king
Ricardio broke every bone in ice kings body
Ice kings heart got replaced with maracas
THEREFORE
Simons heart is made of maracas
So what could Cosmic Owl possibly be profiteering with? The last potential misuse of his powers was to meet hot babes in their dreams.
Dream manipulations to influence betting.
“Profiteering” to cosmic entities wouldn’t have anything to do with money - it could be interpreted as any form of him abusing his power and authority to his own benefit (like to meet a girl.)
I haven't seen anyone talk about this but vampier don't she but Mercy looks to be a teenager the vampire king possibly found her when she was a child meaning he didn't tern her right after finding her he wait till she was a teenager so five to six years after finding her 😅
What if Simon becomes the new wish master?
Think Cake mispelling cake is more of a nod to the fact that even Jake also couldn't spell stuff correctly when he tries to do it with his stretch powers too, rather than just being cause she's a cat
I hope baby Finn is alive still
0:39 his little guy died :(
They forgot the baby finn in the vamp world
Was the baby world shown or skipped🤣
